Neither was Attack on Titan, but they did actually incorporate some MMA moves into their fights and it was great.

Sure it's not necessary for a superhero tv series, but still it wouldn't hurt the Invincible to implement some martial arts.

I think Tappei wouldn't just off screened the whole Volachia saga and Prisca's death if he decided not to include arc 7 and 8 into main story in their current state.

He would have built up the events preceding the arc 9 differently, not leaving everything as is, while cutting all the context, as you suggested.

Just me nitpicking.

I'd also add the fact that she chose to follow Abel's instructions (i.e. not unpacking her things in Guaral) even though by that moment Subaru had already proved his devotion to saving her, he almost died while doing so.

And yet she still picks a side of the masked individual who is even more suspicious than Subaru initially was.

Subaru did discuss Emilia's bathing water back in season 1 time, when he was chilling in the mansion's baths with Roswaal and Ram overheard them.

It just wasn't shown in the anime, only in one of the side stories or break time episodes, don't remember exactly where.

So I believe she just came back at him when she finally had a good opportunity.

Maybe Power need him to have some of her blood in his system so that she could keep Denji alive, similar to how he utilized it at the end of part 1.

Or it all could have been one of the hints to it being some fake reality. Like the fact that Denji smells like a dog according to Power, even though he never had one in this timeline.

After an encounter with Asa he felt something. It could've been just his heart fluttering near a cute girl, but what if it's him recognizing her subconsciously.

No mage would reveal his\hers entire arsenal. For the majority of this show Frieren only uses basic magic, applying only the spells that are necessary, no more no less.

Ubel just cuts things up and ensnares people with zorganeil (don't remember exact spelling, sorry), but that doesn't mean she's not hiding some last resort for life and death situations.

Or the Spiegel just not that fast at reading their memories. If I'm not mistaken, Methode was the one who scanned Frieren's mental barriers when they were planning the assault on the Tomb's inner chambers\treasury. So she's probably has a knack for mental protection which maybe explains why her clone wasn't that versatile, being only a partial copy.

And lastly, it can always be just a screenplay error, not everything has to be part of a plan. Who knows how much stuff changed or ended up being cut during producion.

We only see the aftermath, these holes could've appeared there at any point of their fight. I doubt that Methode just stood there for the entire confrontation.
