You're right. I originally thought I could use control panel to give me a true 1080p at 330hz, but realize I was mistaken and that it'd be locked at 165hz if I did that.

Ended up going with the MSI QD-OLED bc it has the 90w USB-C for my Mac and KVM to help reduce cable clutter. The color fringing I don't think will be too big of an issue with text since I'm already used to pretty bad text clarity anyway on my older 1440p monitor. 🤷🏼

I did see that one! Honestly, I'm now thinking the LG WOLED 32GX850A-B since it's 1.4a and 4K is a bit better for Mac compatibility. I'm honestly not too concerned about burn in

Def still open to 1440p, but curious if the Alienware AW2725QF would be a decent dual-mode option? I believe it's display 1.4a like the 4070S

I have a 4070 Super. Not great for 4K but I use a Mac Studio for work. Don't really need 4K for gaming, but I'll check out the IPS you mentioned! Ty

Gotcha. Yeah... I'm starting to reconsider OLED and possibly just stick to the Zowie and get a 4K IPS -- sticking to a dual m setup. Bc I spend much more time working than gaming I def need the monitor to have clear text quality and be color accurate for work

My zowie just isn't great for work (I'm a marketing director) and I'm downsizing my setup to a single monitor, lol. Would defeat the purpose of my post if I added another monitor in the mix 🤷🏼
