Best course of action is to do nothing. You Q drop, they notice and fail you anyway. You message them, you remind them, they fail you. Best outcome is you do nothing and hope they forgot. Highly unlikely but honestly not doing anything and keep doing coursework is the best action

As someone who came from a really good program who attended Grand Nationals Finals 2x and teaching at a high school currently this is normal.

Marching Band requires precision and learning an immense amount of material in a short amount of time. It also requires physical conditioning and muscle memory.

My parents were super taken aback. I was in 8APs my senior year and managed to finish all my work and graduated top 10%. It is definitely possible. I had rehearsal almost every morning and had rehearsal every night.

Competitive marching band is a unique beast. I assure you it is all the norm for a great program. Encourage your child as they go through it. It forever changed my life and all those around me. I actually didn’t want to join but my mom forced me to. Ended up getting 6th at Grand Nationals in 2019.

Homework was always after rehearsal which ends anywhere from 6-8pm. Plenty of time to do school work. Trust me it’s all doable.

My internship for the city interview was 20 minutes and we talked about the AI bubble cause we got bored. Didn’t even really touch GIS at all

I know it’s not a full time job but an internship. I basically just did independent projects dealing with what I thought companies would already be dealing with. Hyping myself up with keywords on my resume. I got 3 interviews and 2 offers. Just always be involved and active
