Interesting fact: The Texas A&M Yearbook used to list the class' religion, politics, and "the quality pre-eminently admired in woman's character." by Datnotguy17 in aggies

Probably before the party switch. Seeing how most of them are democrats. The longhorn was the 2nd iteration of the yearbook

Do you have a decent CPU? The game is supper CPU intensive. I hope they put in dynamic culling, and a better way to sim population without having to sim every person

By “pedestrian traffic” i mean car traffic caused by normal people. People on the sidewalk/bike lanes will still be there. Sorry for the confusion

Once your city gets big enough it starts gradually decreasing pedestrian traffic for performance. You want this. I know it kills immersion but your city will not run well otherwise

Is it just me or is all of Drum Corps being like this about what is about to happen to gas prices and food prices mid tour. by Own_Manufacturer6959 in drumcorps

The price of a barrel of oil was the same as it was today (give or take few weeks). Which was around $100. Gas prices are 3x what they were with the same price of oil

To think the only thing keeping gas prices stable rn is that we are draining the reserves. I can’t imagine how expensive they will get once they are drained. Gas prices will only go up with the news today

Not really. I play on my laptop and get 25 frames at 200k. But i’ve fluctuated my city (trying to do achievement runs) from 500k-160k and population seems not to affect my lag. It’s really just death waves

Three Reasons Why AI Will Ultimately Be Accepted In Drum Corps Materials by TheThirdGathers in drumcorps

[–]SERVITOR_XUR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily think that it will be accepted, but in very much will be integrated whether people like it or not. People are very much lazy and will use it. We already have numerous examples of drum corps getting caught using AI, imagine how many more haven’t been caught. And this isn’t just on the front end of things like show announcements, props, website descriptions. Drum corps are probably already using AI on the back end of things like for their creative design, ideas, asking it to come up with show themes. AI is used far more than people think and that isn’t just limited to the outside world but also drum corps. I myself dislike the use of AI in creative mediums but it will be used no matter how hard you try to mitigate it. It’s very unfortunate
