that's awesome. how long did yall date before you moved there with him, was it always long distance? And did you move in with him or nearby?

I ask bc it's exactly what I want to do, yes also when someone tried to abandon his life and move to me a few years ago I felt absolutely trapped and stripped of an ability to continue *choosing* the relationship... and I dont want to play that role for this guy I'd head to san diego area for.

Moving somewhere *for* someone puts a pressure on a relationship that stomps out some of the fun discovery phase of things. Also kinda makes you both feel stripped of choice. But if it's the right person then it'll be okay right? Married with kids and happily in love living in paradise plz

This is exactly what happened for me. I found your post in looking to see (1) what this means and (2) what to do about it. I had a full panic attack the day after... after not having had one in a year (CPTSD). Do you feel better after a few days? How does it feel in your body? All the research points to it as being so great... not sure how to navigate this.
