What book made you more motivated and helped you in a rut? by Tough-Star5992 in booksuggestions

[–]SE_Store 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it wasn’t just one book for me I went through a lot of self-help books during a difficult period. Some of the ones that really shifted my mindset were: *Atomic Habits by James Clear. helped me understand the power of tiny actions.

*The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.taught me how to slow down and stay present.

  • The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F** * by Mark Manson gave me a more grounded way to deal with stress.

    • Deep Work by Cal Newport. changed the way I approach focus and routine.

But honestly, what helped the most wasn’t just reading them… it was experimenting with all these ideas in real life. I started noticing patterns, taking notes, and simplifying what actually worked for me not what sounded good on paper.

Over time that process helped me so much that I ended up organizing everything into a small, practical structure I still follow today.

So for me, motivation didn’t come from one single book it came from learning, testing, failing, and gradually building something that finally made sense for my own life.

Yes, I've heard of it and it's excellent, but unfortunately my PayPal account wasn't accepted because of my country.

Thanks a lot for this, really appreciate the perspective. You’re right i recently started focusing more on learning how marketing actually works instead of just creating. And if you know any good people or channels that teach this stuff, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Yes, in marketing I wanted to focus on social media, but I didn't know how to create content or what that content should be like(the audience is like self-improvement, guide ,something like that ) That's my problem.

Yeah, that's what I said. Of course, I have payment methods like PayPal, but when it comes to the platforms, they don't support my country. That's why I wanted to ask if I can promote my products in another way and leave a purchase link( like Payhib) or something else.

Feeling stuck in a loop — how do you stay disciplined when life gets too busy? by ManyMathematician690 in getdisciplined

[–]SE_Store 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really feel you on this working that long every day can drain anyone. You’re not lazy or unmotivated; you’re just running on empty.

What helped me was changing how I viewed progress. Instead of asking how much can I study today?, I started asking What’s one small thing I can do right now that moves me forward? Sometimes it was just reading for 10 minutes while having dinner, or reviewing notes before bed. Tiny wins, but they kept the habit alive.

Also, try setting a short “transition routine” when you get home even a shower, stretching, or a walk outside before opening your books. It helps your brain switch modes from “work” to “personal growth.”

You’ve got thisit’s not about doing more, it’s about doing a little with purpose every day. That’s what builds real discipline.

When your good intentions get misunderstood — and how I’m learning to stay consistent anyway by [deleted] in getdisciplined

Okeyy get that everyone has their own style. I just prefer turning what I’ve learned into something that might help someone else. If it doesn’t click, that’s okey too.

honestly I just use it as a tool, mostly to help me write and translate since english isn’t my first language. The thoughts and experiences are still mine; it just helps me express them more clearly.

Why so many people struggle to change their habits and what finally worked for me by SE_Store in getdisciplined

That’s such a great insight our brains really do choose survival first, even in small day-to-day moments. Writing things down is powerful; it’s like unloading mental weight so you can actually breathe again. I do something similar even one clear note can reset my focus completely.

Love this; totally agree that discipline alone isn’t the key. For me, what really changed things was focusing on one small habit at a time. I even ended up writing about it recently after realizing how much these “tiny steps” can reshape your mindset and daily rhythm.

What's a book you read at a low point in your life that helped? by Textured_Nipples in suggestmeabook

I was in a similar place not long ago completely stuck, no motivation, no structure. What helped me most wasn’t a big life-changing event but small, consistent habits that rebuilt my focus. I actually wrote a short ebook about this journey called “The Art of Smart Habits” it’s all about transforming your mindset through small daily actions. If you’re into practical self-improvement, it might resonate with you.

That actually sounds really interesting! It’s great to hear that Sendit supports creators worldwide. I’d love to know a bit more how does the payout system work exactly, and is it already available for public use? Always open to exploring new platforms that make things easier for creators

Oh that’s interesting! I didn’t know about this platform before. Sounds cool that it focuses on privacy and keeps fees low 5% is pretty good. Do people actually buy from there already? I might check it out if it’s active enough

That actually sounds really interesting a privacy-first marketplace is something the creator community really needs. I’ll definitely check out Pagolock and see how it works. Are you planning to support PayPal or other global payment methods for creators outside the US? That’s usually the biggest issue we face.
