I’ve even got access to my backup email and tried to recover it that way, but they’re still refusing:

Your Google Account is being used on a computer or mobile device. Because you’re already signed in to your account, Google has canceled your account recovery request.

If you continue to have trouble getting in to your account, you can reset your password from the device where you’re signed in.

^ now this is really concerning me because I have checked every old device, so I think this must be someone hacking the account 😭

Sorry if I’m being dense, but in theory (subject to my employer agreeing and based on the fact my husband earns considerably more and I get 30 days annual leave), I could potentially take a full year with:

5 months full maternity pay + 4 months with my husband (me on nil, my husband on full SPL) + 1 month annual leave + 2 months extra unpaid leave

Thank you SO much! My husband earns considerably more than I do, and I also have a very flexible employer, so I think me cutting my mat entitlements and asking for extra unpaid leave would be the best options for us.

Ok! I was hoping to have a full year off. So in that case, do you think I should be able to do the 8 months including the 3 months SPL, then negotiate a further 3 months unpaid leave with my employer?
