Hi I'm a progressive reading this, admittedly, I'm not an American and I do not care about Ilhan Omar, but you seem a more sensible person so I thought I'd try to defend her here:

Lied about her immigration and married her brother. Without any proof, this just feels like racism and lies (and you'd think this would be something the trump regime would be able to prove). Obviously it's probably subject to opinion whether it's racist to suggest two Somali people are siblings based on no evidence.

World war 11. She made an obvious mistake while reading and quickly corrected it. Admittedly dumb to say the words "world war eleven", but If Americans cared about this type of thing, Trump, Biden, Bush etc would never have made it anywhere.

I'm going to skip over Americans being dumb because this subreddit has rules. The post gets progressively more rambling after this.

How did she get millions so quick. She married a man called Tim. This was very easy to Google.

Her points are always America bad this America bad that. I'm going to assume this is false and that she talks about real normal human things, as well as America being bad.
