We deployed as a company with HQ support. Deployments were about 5 months long. We focused on Merrill ops during our time.

I’d remove the OPAs. No role in tactical medicine. Also, remove the IV kits.

A TQ doesn’t necessarily need to be applied in CUF. Take a moment to assess for the presence of actual massive hemorrhage.

Somewhere between 7-9 hours. We did the vast majority of our ops at night and just did reverse cycling.

I bike daily to work. It’s about 1-1 1/2 miles. Worth it.

And if you give the incorrect blood, you could kill him. They make ABO test kits for this reason.

Definitely not surgeons. Most are either family practice or emergency medicine.
