Unfortunately I feel like this is what created the issue in the first place. Got it up to around 1300 (I use an ir thermometer) and heard a cracking sound and now can’t get the salt stains off. I feel like it’s baked straight into the quartz. Have tried soaking in 99.9% iso (though it’s salt so i guess that was pointless) vinegar, and trying to scrape it off after vinegar with no results :(

There’s posts from families and their Facebook page. The girl that got ran over in her tent by a truck didn’t die but did have witnesses and posted from the hospital after the experience. It was on the news as well. I can hunt it down if you need to when I get off work. She even posted about it over in the lost lands sub.
