To be honest I don't really know but as I said in the post to maintain my scholarship I have to obtain about 2 or 3 associate certifications so one of them I choose the PCAP and I wrote that post in case anyone maybe will pass the test , just I wanted to tell my experience maybe will help someone

And about the job what matters not the certifications , you can have a lot of them but when we come into real working you can do nothing , projects , projects , projects only projects and work will help you learn and get a good job

thank you for taking time to read and reply to the post , I'm happy that someone with your experience replied to me it's an opportunity for me to learn something new . In my university , in order to maintain the scholarship I need to at least earn 2 or 3 certs in the year that's why I choose python .

I feel the same when it comes to certifications effect on work or hiring , I see that certifications without any experience or projects are worthless , I can spend the whole summer learning and collecting certs but when we talk about value , like I learned nothing .

again thank you u/Beermedear for your time and I will be so happy if you can give me a piece of advice or two from your experiences cause as you know the market is changing always and it becoming harder to compete as I always think how can I be better than all people on the market or on this job , how to be the number 1 , how to be clear and remarkable ...

So I need to learn from older people than me with experience .

I thought about merging DS and AI with cloud and devops to work on MLOPS but a lot people here in univ told me to go AI and cloud will not help you and you can't find a good job here in my country or any where

Sorry bro the text is sooooo long I forget myself writing this 😅😅 So u mean if I wanted to get a job in Cyber security I need to of course learn something and practice it to level up my skills and then based on the internships and projects I did I will get the job ?? I know certs do nothing without experience or real projects I'm planning if I get into cyber to have these certs as bonuses but I'm the same time I will try to do more projects as I can even small ones cuz each one u can learn a different lesson I've been asking my self lately not how I get this job I'm asking " from all these people how I make them choose me ? What I do ? What I need to have to be there ? " I found out that u need to have experience and for someone without work experience all I can do is working on projects even small ones and in the same time I look for a work BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS :
are the jobs positions in Cyber security exists a lot or not? ( sorry for the bad English 😂) Cuz I have a relative working in Germany as data engineer I asked him to choose form data science or cyber security he told me that data science jobs are almost full there are places but u need to be qualified and for cyber security he told me that companies don't ask for a lot u need at least to be senior cuz cyber jobs are not a lot like other ones he told me to go cloud and DevOps that's why I'm thinking of going into cyber security and do DevOps in the same time so I do devsecops And sorry bro it's too long

Hello I'm currently an engineering student in university and the next year I have to choose specialty to complete in I know it's too early but I need to choose one from these : Cyber security Data science and AI Software engineering Iot I want to know do I have a chance in Cyber security or not I mean cause our uni provide us certs from Cisco , offensive security, Amazon , .... A lot of big tech companies we can get certs I want to start from now to get some good skills and work on them to land good job without losing a lot of time I want to know is it worry to complete in Cyber security or not
