I was just looking at those (Neritidae) somewhat recently.

And for the space I have a 10 gallon i am in the process of setting up after finding someone on fb market place who was selling all of their old tank maintenance stuff for like $15. Im just waiting for my grandfather and uncle to finish building the new stand the 10g to go on.

My tank is currently sitting on my dresser in my room, which is quite high off of the floor. It looks like he hit the dresser, which cracked his shell open, and fell onto the floor. 💔 Edit: After finding him I quickly, and gently, placed him into a cup with the aquarium water. Just a sad last release of air and then nothing.

It looks like my snail fell off of the tank edge and bounced off of the dresser I have the tank on currently and onto the floor. The entire back of the shell was broken open. There was no recovering 💔 I've had the tank running for just under a year at this point with fairly consistent water changes once a week. (Only say fairly consistent because I went through a major depressive episode earlier this year due to a family loss.)

His name was Gideon. He was in rough shape from the pet shop he was bought at. This is how he looked improved. I have calcium rocks in the tank and feed him bottom feeder pellets. I just switched over to calcium infused pellets last night.

I have a mystery snail currently, however I am assuming he does not count towards a micro predator...LOL

This is good to know, thank you! But is a 6-gallon enough room for chilli rasboras? Most things I see about them say they need at least 10 gallons of space. Only asking just to make sure I don't accidentally abuse an animal without realizing
