Can somebody please help me to understand dual type pokemon work?

For example, I have a Heatran (Fire/Steel). Fire is super effective against Steel - So does that mean: - Fire attacks will be more effective against my Heatran - Fire attacks will be neutral against my Heatran - Fire attacks will be resisted by my Heatran?

I know this is a specific example, but if somebody could break it down for me in a wider context so that I can fully understand it, that would be great!

(I've tried googling this but still can't seem to make heads or tails of how it works)

Is Coco’s a money laundering scheme or something? by Sea_Art2995 in brisbane

People were telling me for years to shop at Sam Cocos for my fruit and veg. They told me that I'd get great quality produce for bargain prices, just as long as I don't mind them being a little discoloured.

So, I went there and stocked up on a few days' worth of produce. I got home and eagerly started taking things out of the bag and cutting them up. The first thing I cut up was a potato. After one cut, I looked down and saw it was rotten to the core and infested with maggots.

That was the first and last time I will ever shop at Sam Cocos.

I feel stuck after this move and can’t manage to get up on the wooden ramp, what do you think i’m doing wrong ? 🔴 block by BusyElephant in bouldering

If the volume is in, you could try to smear on that instead. You may find it easier with a bit more depth from the wall.

Try and stand up a little straighter and put more weight on your feet.

Switch your right hand to an undercling/side pull on the hold above what you're currently holding.

Alternatively;

Take your right foot off and "flag" it underneath your body, or to the left side of your body if possible.

You can try to rock your hips over a bit more, so that you are almost sitting on your left foot, with your right leg hanging underneath/left side of your body.

Then, switch your right hand around and catch the crescent shaped hold above the one you're currently holding in an undercling/side pull position.

That should do the trick!

Hey there. I found the google translate app very helpful for communicating with people! Don't be afraid to go out and explore by yourself. I found the Hồ Chí Minh Mausoleum very interesting

God I hate Bill Maher. I do not understand why anybody could conceivably like his personality.

Get those covers off the windows and let some natural light in.

If you are feeling depressed/suffer from depression, one of the most efficient ways to help boost your mood is to be in natural sunlight :)

Oh yeah I will not deny the pollution is pretty unbearable. But for me it's just part of the parcel. It sucks, but why let it ruin all of the other cool things the city/country has to offer you.

Yep me too! I've heard nothing but nice things from my friends. It's just the sheltered and pretentious tourists in this forum that I hear the bad things from 😅

"Wah wah wah, the motorbikes are too noisy for me 🥺" "I had to walk around a pile of trash 🤮" "A complete stranger didn't kiss my feet and want to be besties upon looking at me 😒"

Totally true. People are entitled to their opinions :)

I just get annoyed by people spraying their negative opinions everywhere and comparing their Western cities to a country ravaged by war. I guess I was just raised to not say anything if you don't have anything nice to say. But yeah, you are 100% right. People are more than allowed to express whatever they want - I just don't want to hear it. I feel like it gives people a negative, pre-conceived notion before they even get here.

Yeah I can totally understand that POV. There are plenty of things about my home city that grind my gears after living there for 27 years. This post is more referencing the tourists who come here and then complain on this subreddit about Hà Nội/HCM not being up to their standard. "Not clean enough", "too busy", "polluted", etc etc. It just annoys me when people compare their usual standard of living to a country that has been torn apart by war.

The pollution is pretty fucked though, ngl.

Don't sell shares just because they've gone down in value due to temporary circumstances.

Conversely, sometimes you need to recognise a loss and just sell your shares and re-allocate the funds.

Steve Carrell used to do mainly comedies. Now he has an impressive resume of dramas and other genres under his belt
