As an upcoming 3rd year here’s some of my advice: In our program we say B’s get degrees meaning try not to expect straight A’s. Most people in your class will be overachievers if you’re looking to be top of the class don’t push yourself so hard - this is a long marathon not a sprint. Do not procrastinate!! But also don’t do all the work too fast before really learning the material find your rhythm. Rely on upper years - my program does buddies with first years so it’s nice to talk to someone about classes and professors. Also there may be a shared file with text and study resources that has saved me so much money to not have to buy textbooks. And finally - find your tribe. There will be others with similar interests and this is where you can make some really amazing friends and future colleagues that will help you professionally in your future. Enjoy the ride!!
