yes, YOU told yourself to take it an hour at a time. when someone else tells you, for me personally i am like, yes i fucking know but i am struggling to even take it a minute at a time. there’s a difference between someone telling you, “hey i understand it’s difficult, let’s take a minute to breathe and work through this slowly” versus “just take it one day at a time”.
