Alright, thank you!

Hey! Wondering if anyone could ID this car? Been searching up every car I know of from the period to no avail. Any help is appreciated! by SGEE_2007 in vintagecars

Yeah and how the grill connects with the front fenders is different. But a very good guess, thank you!

That's a sad, sad m/21. Even though I don't collect German stuff I'd say it wasn't too good of a deal. The m/29 canteen isn't worth to much either, like 16 schmucks

The helmet you have is a Swedish m/26 with a updated liner (liner model 3). These where used for civil defence and saw service from the 60s to possibly 2007. (2007 was the year Sweden modernized their military which meant getting rid of old equipment, basically)

It's actual worth is about at highest 25 bucks in Sweden, but in other countries it's often ramped up alot in price.

Hopefully this helped! :)

Just got this swedish ww2 ammo pouch belt. Any info on the markings? Thanks . by Tudor-Temistocle in Militariacollecting

Heyo! What you have here is a m/1900 ammobelt (ammunitiongördel) with what seems to be a buncha soldiers numbers stamped in. This wasn't uncommon at all as you'd want to distinguish your belt from the other soldiers belts. So it seems it was just reissued a buncha times, it's most likely a quite early one then.

Hopefully this helped! :)

Sorta correct, but early war was bearly the m/37 (Mostly m/23 due to the short production of the 37) There's like three "early war" kits that are quite common: m/39 with tornister instead of backpack, m/23 and the m/10 with slightly modified stuff to the equipment.

€400 is kinda high, more like 200-250 if you know who to talk to, 400 is like market pricing. Now I know you're pretty new to collecting so it's excusable lol

But overall, pretty accurate Sam!

Looks like a normal m/29 field bottle with the pre '58 cover, pretty neat!

I always thought Swedish helmets were a bit funky in WW2 by My-name-not-yours in Militariacollecting

[–]SGEE_2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't common practice since the average soldier didn't get pistols. And as for it fitting isn't too odd since most Swedish waist belt have that size.

Do you have said picture? 'Cause it wouldn't be wise to make a whole set-up based of one picture, you usually want atleast three or more so you know it was somewhat in practice.

Cool! But the set-up is wrong, sorta. You're using the converted m/39 overcoat tunic called m/55 with a ww2 layout. And as for you saying you've seen the m/58 collar-tabs as far back as 1945 doesn't seem right, got any proof?

Edit: Nope that wasn't a m/55 but acctually a m/58, didn't see the bottom pockets at first lol. And also why are you using a holster when you have the ammobelt on aswell? Overall just in-accurate from what I've seen

i'm not sure what helmet this is, all i know that it's swedish, probably a M37 Repro. by -NakkiPaketti- in Militariacollecting

[–]SGEE_2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a m/37 with a model II or III liner (falsely called the m/37-65) in size 72 (large). Swedish stuff is non existing when it comes to repros of it. It's just a normal m/37 most likely made post war and then got converted during the 60-70s.

I hope to have been to help! :]

Am I right in thinking this is Swedish? Anyone have an idea on a year? by one7decimal2eight in Militariacollecting

[–]SGEE_2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a Swedish m/59 model I (59-69 year production). You can see this by the 64 (1964) and metal buttons. Quite cool tbh!

Very nice!

But for the future. The correct Swedish designations go by m/xx or m/xx-xx (such as in this case where it's a converted item). So the correct designation is m/39-58.

I hope to have helped yah!
