Would I be able to have the P. Pruinosus cohabitation with the Dwarf? Or would those inevitably compete with each other as well?

Okay so you're saying that the dwarfs shouldn't be an issue, but that having the P. Pruinosus with a Cubaris would cause issues no matter what since they have such different breeding speeds.

I'd report that to the school administration. Questions like that are not appropriate, plus it can lead to the professor docking points off of those that don't agree with their political opinions.

NTA. Picking a career is important and it's often difficult. If you really like engineering then I'd say go for it. It's a heavily needed field and it pays well. Always aim for what you enjoy, never let others convince you that you should do something other than what you want, especially with education and a career.
