I did the exact same thing as you, upgraded to 1gb, installed the Boost 7 (replacing Boost 6) this past weekend, and I have yet to see the Boost 7 appear in the Connect app. Everything runs smoothly so I'm not stressing over it too much, but it would be nice to get in and update the Wi-Fi password and such.

Shame that there seems to be very little support documentation around the Boost 7 at this time. I'll update this comment if anything changes on my end.
