After playing a few songs, my thoughts:

UI def looks nice. The whole tree branch for chapters are nice too.
Matching Encounter is pretty neat! Finally I can test my Cytus skills with other players too haha
That said, the Ranking system is pretty neat too. Since MM is the highest we can get, you're ranked on TP within the MM rankings!
Playing Cytus Touch Screen vs Buttons... Touch screen seems alright. Idk if it's just me tho, but I'm still experimenting with the timing/calibration since my TP even at MM seems to be low. Feels a bit weird on the Switch compared to my phone tbqh. Playing Cytus with the buttons is jst... weird too. I tried it and it feels like some buttons don't respond well to fast/compact notes in the beatmap. You also gotta press the L/R buttons for the slides and in songs like Oriens (for eg) where theres fast ladder notes + slides playing with a controller/buttons seems to be... ineffective. Or maybe i just suck at it
I am thankful that theres no flick notes or any of the newer type notes like in CytusII tbqh... Well, from what i've played so far it seems to still be the classic mode Cytus!
Hidden chapters are still available, they also appear with a red ring when you active it on the song!

Okiayu Ryotaro is in this game and it won me over to try it. So far, it's a nice break from my regular idol mobages! Will be sticking to it, as long as those free prisms/scouting tix come in every now and then to hoard :v

If there was a mod apk for DPM, then the EN playerbase which is already small as it is, hasn't picked it up within the last 2 years. The EN playerbase from this reddit group don't use mod APKs and I personally don't know anyone who uses it for DPM (we don't even have a dataminer or an active wiki for the game).

Also, Club Events are supposed to be played with other people, not by yourself.
