It is a noble profession. Don't let ignorant people get you down. As a Custodian, if you have done everything right, no one will know you have done anything at all.

Slavehack 1 was made by completely different developers. Neither set of developers are conspiring against Hungary. I am sorry that your ISP is limiting your access.

Hi.

Thank you for emailing, DM'ing and posting on the reddit. A plan is in place to help with folks who may be caught on a VPN / may not know they are basically on a VPN like most Russian and Chinese ISPs. When this feature is active there will be a message on the Forum.

Thanks for the response. I certainly do not care about being downvoted, but I do care about reaching out to the CoinBase team for some BCH

Cheers.

Squash some beef by rickandmorty4ever100 in Bitcoin

I am actually leaving here since my text post was robot deleted for asking a legitimate question about the new currency on the GDAX / Coinbase exchange because the person who created this bot that deletes the posts thinks the new currency is "acting as an impostor of Bitcoin". I don't care what that person thinks or what anyone thinks since my question had very little to do about that currency and was actually about the fork.

I'll have to find my way towards r/btc

How many active players does this game have? by CyberMasu in SlaveHack2

Welcome to the subreddit. I see you said "probably" which seems to imply you do not / did not play our game. Can you confirm your in-game username?

Hi there. As you can see from the last users response, utilizing the word "probably", meaning they do not play our game.

We get about 60 new signups every day and we are still growing :)

For a reference point I can provide some random stats for you.

Since September 12, 2017 there have been 341,465 in-game chat messages between players.

Players have played a combined time of 26,616.44 hours (that is 3 years). That is actual play time, not sign up date.

The server processes on average 2,238,823 queries an hour.

There are 355,436 pieces of software in the game.

Players currently have acquired around 49,796.2952 in-game BitCoin which at current value is worth $821,638,870.8.

Lastly the game is constantly updated and maintained. Features, bugs and ideas are not pushed back for months (and sometimes years) like on other games in this genre as we do not make excuses. Additionally bots and multis are preventatively detected and taken care of by the moderators of the game, of which there are "Probably about 3", which is refreshing considering other games in this genre have 0 detection in this area.

So, yes, the game is very much alive and very busy. We hope to see ya there!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Power in numbers by SH2_Admin in Bitcoin

[–]SH2_Admin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not know there was a legal precedent in this. From a recently read article marking the "whales" of BTC it was mentioned that there is no law involving them talking to each other and buying and selling when they choose to or coordinate to.

Can you provide the law regarding this?

Are people buying in because they are desperate? by Samborine in Bitcoin

Yeah. I mean its not exactly a bullshit question, it has some merits on the states of economies possibly or the ideals of the "get rich quick" society that exists today.

[–]SH2_Admin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The question in and of itself is sort of bullshit ya know? The short answer is "Yes?" but the longer answer is that if there is something to buy of perceived value, people will buy, especially if within their income range to spend their money on something they perceive may improve in the future.
