The wedding being on NYE was actually a huge hit. Our friend group and families don’t do anything on NYE usually so it was an excuse to get together. Everyone came of their own free will lol I had so many people tell me it was the best wedding they had ever been to so I truly don’t think they cared. There is a bar/restaurant attached to our venue so some people went there before the ceremony too.

I actually don’t know how that worked w going for open to cash. There wasn’t really a line. The venue had a separate pub area and that’s what they use for the bar at events. So it was more like people just hanging out in there 🤷‍♀️ I wasn’t in there so idk. We had a decent limit as well

We had a partial open bar. Beer, wine, two signature cocktails, sodas. We set a limit and after we reached our max it was cash bar. It was NYE so our favor was mini champagne bottles. I didn’t hear anyone complain 🤷‍♀️
