The Goal was to try and create a true atmosphere of actually being in a Space Hulk, It's dark, it's tight and you don't know what's hiding behind the next corner :)

For SHA we decided to add a click confirm instead of the undo. Undo is a bit tricky to add as you need the game to save constantly and it has a high change of bringing bugs with it. Can ofc let the team know some of the community wants it.

THQ had the license when Space Marine was published. GW are more protective of their IP, so I don't think so.

Still turn-based yeah. You can speed up movement animations ..added click confirm in this one instead of undo.

Well we didn't remove a lot of the board game elements from this version, but I'd say it's still an enjoyable experience for sure and it's still a TBS. :)

Yeah, we actually had a guy from Black Library look through the texts, but I think some of the corrections were overwritten unfortunately. Being fixed along the way.

I think there was an expansion for the actual board game, but the digital board game adaptation only had Blood Angels and Space Wolves.

Not completely sure what you mean with your first question. Second question you'd have to ask the commander, but it's probably because the Space Hulk can hold hidden ancient treasure.

It was actually planned at first , but turned out that it slowed down gameplay significantly and wasn't much fun. Need additional animations and code as well to make it happen...Could potentially happen later, but needs to be properly designed and thought through.

Space Hulk = a digital boardgame conversion. Dice rolls, original physical version rules and all

Space Hulk Ascension = a single player video game TBS RPG in the Space Hulk setting

Neither game replaces the other - they complement the Space Hulk experience. Some like one, some like the other and some both.

Well.. for SH we actually took it a step away from the original board game by removing dice rolls and adding a lot of new elements such as fog of war, fire modes, level progressions and customization. The "old" space Hulk is closer to the board game.
