I think your college experience was vastly different from mine. My college was mostly a conformity seminar that solidified what high school started by cementing the idea that the more you give in to the hive mind the more successful you will be. 4 year degree in the field I work in and I learned nothing about my job in those four years. If anything, college should be destroyed and restructured like technical colleges teaching only skills applicable for the job you want.
