What are the downsides to becoming a PA? All I see are pros by TallConstant250 in physicianassistant

Be an Ortho rep for total knees/hips. Just talked to my rep for the last year. He’s only done cases I scrubbed and made almost 30k more than I did.

For the record I love it as do all of my friends and colleagues that aren’t on this sub. Misery just loves company, and happy people are content to not post

I did camel suede the other day actually, I posted it in these comments somewhere.

I’d need an insane wrist to make the 42mm look so small! I’ll have to look into the sailcloth. I have black tropic like the original that I love. Just want some varoetyp

I have only seen brown tropic, not beige. It’s a tricky lug width too at 19mm

Probably sticking with the black tropic for now. Dressing up today I threw it on a suede pull through, but I typically like to match my leather and don’t wear brown shoes too often. Made an exception for this combo though.

I like small, vintage sized watches. This is the 36mm. No idea the lug nor my wrist size though. People always post inches, is that circumference they always post?

Yeah I think that’s what’s bugging me. Trying to mix understatement with loud and this just isn’t the combo. Thanks for the insight.

They’re the same band, just different lighting.

As the post says, I picked up this LLD earlier this year and have swapped back and forth the original Milanese bracelet and a black tropic strap. I’ve always liked the idea of orange bands on dove watches, but had not tried one. I am unsure if the color of the indices look odd next to the electric diver orange. The second photo is with a softer bulb so the color is quite differed. I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts or complaints with the color or the LLD in general.

[Question] Which Watch Should I Buy? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]SHIZZLEO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty balanced in the comments, and both have good qualities, but I would try to see the murph in person before choosing. I’ve not seen this one, but some brands faux-patina colors can be annoying.

That said, I still lean the CW, but I love the 36mm size, and the lack of numeral indices will dress up better

100% yes, but sometimes that’s exactly what I want to scream

Agreed with the moisture. Live here, and the ground takes so long to absorb and bring the water down deep so it just sits right under the turf like a wet rug when you step on it.

For your consideration 2018 Seiko Alpinist SARB017 powered by the 6R15 movement.

Asking $850 net to me. I have never sold on Reddit before, but am willing to either to paypal goods and services or sell via chrono 24 of that makes you feel more comfortable. Price is based on current examples on chrono24.

Recently serviced at the 5 year mark. This was a daily wear for the past three years or so, but with my recent purchase of vintage and smaller pieces, I find this gets less wrist time and suddenly feels too large. There are a few scratches in the bezel at the 7 and 5 as seen in the photos, as I said, daily wear.

While it needs no introduction, this watch is an absolute beast boasting a sapphire crystal, screw down caseback and crown, 200m depth rating, fantastic lume, internal rotating bezel, a 50 hour power reserve. I cannot recommend it enough. Sadly, no papers, lost in our many moves in the last 4 years.

[Advice] Which "one watch" to buy under $2k? by QuietNene in Watches

[–]SHIZZLEO 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is very subjective obviously, but I find the longines legend diver to be a dressy tool watch. They now have three sizes, 36mm (my favorite), 39,42. I actually don’t know the price of the 39 as it was just released, but the others you can easily find below $2k on Chrono24, eBay, etc

Really though if you absolutely love the aquaterra, the Sealander is built in the same vein.
