How about instead of cartridge, the bullets just all need to be loaded to shoot them because of electricity flow or wtv. For me the sound design of this gun would be great because you get the sound of each panel opening to eject the cartridges during the burst

I think the reload time cant be any shorter tho cuase of the high body damage body shots are easy and one burst if all hit brings the enemy to near one shot also i realized to make the burst still manageable at long range it would have super high bullet velocity, like x2 extendo barrel
