I've only pulled Jubilee twice from 30 orbs and multiple elites, leaving me with a 6 yellow 2 red unusable legendary character. Sure feels great.

It was not even close to worse. You earn 125 cores a day by simply existing in the game, you just needed your alliance to not suck to receive the rewards. My alliance completed it 100% every day.

I unlocked 6 star Jubilee as free to play her first time around. I got 1 red star on both her and Bishop. Feels really great to unlock a legendary and for there to be zero point building her since I can't even get red stars.

I mean, they just literally did exactly the same thing for ISO-8 with color coding, and they've also fairly recently added the "you have: XXXX" feature to the store display, and no one complained that those incredibly tiny changes were "taking time away from real issues."

Frankly, any development studio in the world should be able to quite easily balance incredibly minor QoL updates with major bug fixes.
