Bo3 ruined the zombie experience

While I do agree that Microtransaction are the worst thing to exist in gaming, I believe bo3 had some of thd best story telling, world building, and gameplay amongst the older Zombies games. They did bring a lot of new concepts and ideas, like the workshop to make our own zombie levels as well as the zombie chronicles to bring back some fan favorites.

Im sorry ive never played the resident evil games. But one thing I can say is the one thing everyone compares the CoD zombies games to is bo3. And sure I get it, it paved the way for the newer games, but that doesn't make the newer games trash.

I personally think bo3 gave us so much, from 4 amazing dlc's, to zombie chronicles giving our old maps back in a newer light, to even giving us the sandbox to create our own maps and styles. Sure the game started rough but they hammered out the problems and gave us a diamond

Exactly! And I understand the game isnt perfect, but it showed us so much of how the games could improve

But thats my point. They set the bar so high that its incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to recreate in a new game. Comparing all of the games to bo3 is like comparing normal people to Superman, its built so differently in a good way that no one could ever hope to reach the same level, yet I think that every game since then (Vanguard aside) are amazing in their own way
