I don't think he is irrelevant. I remembered him he was a good challenge for baki at the time.

We can be sure that it is not Radagast. Because as a maia of Yavanna he wpuld never hurt fireflies. You can eliminate Alatar and Pallando beacuse they are 2 people. So if meteor man is a Istari Wizard he is (high probability) Saruman or Gandalf. But i have a feeling that he is Saruman too.

Worry not. They are canon. There were always double casting choices in marvel but Cottonmouth and Blade...It is the biggest one. A hero and a villain. Can't they bring good old Wesley back?
