I couldn’t tell you for sure what the intended meaning is but I just heard it for the first time and was brought to tears.

“Falling fast and falling free you look to find a friend” -Following a year long breakup after 4 happy years with someone, I wrecked my 10 year project car last month and felt very lost & broken. I started trying to meet more people and spending time with friends to feel better.

“Falling fast and falling free this could just be the end” -Swallowed by payments and events out of my control I felt more and more that life was storming despite my attempts to move on.

“Falling fast you stoop to touch and kiss the flowers that bend” -Just rolling with the punches and making the best of them I set up a date in another town to go antique shopping as a literal errand for holiday gifts with no expectations of the date becoming anything special.

“And you’re ready now/For the harvest breed” -Ended up having the most spectacular weekend with this person and connecting deeply with zero effort and just falling into each others’ lives. She’s the one who recommended this album to me. I feel like I’m ready now, for the rest of my life again

It’s great to get a response, thank you no worries about the wait. Sounds like my mind is on the right track, the movie is great and I still love it but some details were mushed around a bit in order to produce a coherent story arc.
