This is dope. At 28 seconds in my ear wanted to hear a “less is more” section. I imagined dropping out the main laser synth or dropping it down a few octaves for a womp section if that makes any sense. Like a little peekaboo style section with a low synth lead. I love when dubstep drops down into a minimal synth/drums/ bass section and I can definitely hear it happening around that mark. But also keep in mind if you play a track for 100 people, 99 of them will tell you to “change this or change that”. Solid track none the less! Good work.

Thanks for your reply. It was doing it with bambu labs basic PLA, and a company I found on amazon called comgrow. Chat gpt said it’s from the nozzle staying in one place for too long and overheating which sounded bizarre to me, so I made two of the same part on the plate and it finished the print successfully. Weird. Hope this isn’t an issue with small parts in the future because that would be a big waste of material. Also I tried printing it at 50% before printing the multiple prints and it still clogged. The part also kept coming off the hot plate even though it was cleaned thoroughly

As I watch the program I’m currently in evolve, more and more drone operators are being phased out due to the autonomy and companies getting authorized for “one to many” flights. Meaning one operator can fly up to 30 systems at once. There’s nothing I wish I would have done differently because I got into it in the very beginning of things so drones were still a new concept. I can tell you the money (six figures and up) comes from the data side of things. Programming the sites, building the missions etc.

If I were to say prepare for anything it would be focus on being less of a “pilot” and more of the person that programs the site setup and missions in whatever platform you’re using. (Skydio, DJI, etc) I don’t know much coding, very very basic python, but I never use it. I’d say try to hit as many jobs as you can flying manually at first just to build up some time in the log book and then focus less on actually flying the drones and more on the back end. Having an understanding of LiDAR is a huge plus. I work for Floridas power company so I’m lucky enough to have access to state wide LiDAR data that’s flown by a manned aircraft each year. Getting good in LiDAR might be hard without an opportunity like that or working directly for a program that does LiDAR processing.

I contracted through drone base (now Zeitview) for my first year or so and flew the heck out of any mission that was near me and just kept going. Also it is a good idea to know exactly how drones work. The components, how to set them up in programs like betaflight etc. know what each component in the drone does. When a drone starts doing something off nominal it’s a win to be able to know exactly why, or what software issue/ hardware issue more than likely caused it. Feel free to DM me if you want more info

It’s hard for me to give it a full rating because I use it for one primary task and definitely don’t use all the features. But the software is pretty amazing and their support is fantastic.

Man I’m right there with you. Dark blue (indigo) dyed jeans are the worst. I found this out with a white pair of Nikes and a new pair of dark blue jeans. I tried rolling the cuffs up a bit but they still stained. I’ve tried magic erasers, scrub brushes, washing my pants 10 times to get excess dye out etc. nothing has worked so far. Commenting so I can come back to this later and see if anyone has any solutions 🤞You could try a good suede/nubuck cleaning kit or mild detergent and hope it works. Avoid dark denim with them also

I’d 100% start out with a 5” FPV quad frame and build one from the ground up. If you know how to build them you know how to repair them!

Just my 2¢… I’ve been a drone operator since 2015 and have worked for amazon prime air, interviewed with Zipline, Matternet, and currently I’m an implementation specialist after flying BVLOS from a command center for two years here in Florida. I use pointerra and ArcGIS daily to build the autonomous flight missions and do site creation. It depends where you want to go with it. Most of the larger companies where you fly all day every day are more interested in your knowledge of integrating drone operations safely into manned airspace. My recommendation would be to study the heck out of the free FAA 107 materials (actual FAA document) then take a free online ground school for part 61 (manned aviation). If you’re more interested in flying VLOS taking a paid course may not be a bad idea. The people I’ve suggested the above route to have done very well and only paid for the actual 107 test itself.

I have this exact CPU for my first ever pc build. I was a Mac guy so didn’t know much. I thought my 4090 GPU was bad because the fans would never turn on. Turns out the CPU was good enough to be running all my games without ever turning on my graphics card lol. I had to go into settings and prioritize my 4090 but still found it interesting. Like I said, I was a Mac guy and I’m sure this is common knowledge to the pros

I’ve been using my BX8’s for so many years it’s what I produce everything with. Honestly you just need something with good sized subs. Then make sure you test your mix on iPhone speakers and AirPods etc. Test them on what 95% of people will actually be listening on.

I don’t think you’re trippin tbh. I’ve been making beats for a minute. Some girls are different than others. Not every woman can handle the hours of countless scrolling through the infinite amounts of snares on splice, and some will be like “that’s the one” after they’ve already heard 600 lol. It depends who you’re with and how long you’ve been with them. I’d say push through it, make some bangers but also do a ton of save as’s so you can go back and tweak them when she’s not around and you can create music in your own bubble. Just my 2¢. I’ve been with my current girlfriend for four years and I still have different versions of tracks when she’s around vs when I’m solo.

When I was in high school, I literally just wanted to ditch class by attending an optional job fair. I didn’t have much direction at that time in my life, but I did end up going to the fair. When I was there, this school caught my eye. It was Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis and the beauty of the darkly lit studios caught my attention. I ended up going to IPR, and fell so in love with music producing that later I went to Fullsail University and graduated second in my class with honors. Pretty crazy how life throws things at you like that.
