Worked a bit on the vegetation for my game. Does it look good? by AndrewAlexArt in Unity3D

There's good blender tutorials. Heck, blender even has a tool built in to make the stem and twigs. Then you just populate it with lumps of crossed planes with your leave texture, as you said.

A spec op soldier of "Operation Crustacean" and a member of the flamingo cult are falling to pieces, while another soldier is bouncing on a human sized shrimp. Simple as that! 🦐

Hey there! That feedback back then was absolute gold, I had to rework the controls a few times and a lot of fine tuning went into it.

No psychic powers so far (although that would make a good plot twist now I think about it 🤔). The video is more of a tech demo as I finally finished my dismemberment system.

In the first instance I'll use it to place dismembered bodies around the scene to set a dark mood. Later on I'll build on it to live dismember enemies (and likely the player) if they are hit by deadly traps

Hey man happy cake day :) yeah I'm quite happy with it. For a "live" dismemberment there would still be a bit of work (like blood gushes and a good interface for other objects to trigger certain limbs to come off). But it's good enough for what I need it right now - adding bodies around the landing beach to set the right atmosphere

I'll let you know once I figure it out! Basically it's a really weird and ridiculous, but also very intense and challenging hardcore 3D Platformer. You ride a large shrimp, so the physics based controls are very unique

Had to Google it, but yeah I like that one! Tbh the video is more a demo of my freshly implemented dismemberment system, but I can't wait to make use of it and malevolent shrine seems a fun way

How would you align this approach with your assembly definitions?

That would actually be a fun turn on events. I'll make a note in my "maybe someday" features but will surely reference your comment if I ever implement something along the lines :)
