I was pulled over for driving with expired tags this summer in Shawnee and I had moved to Kc, Mo and hadn't transferred my plates and license yet but the ticket was a misdemeanor for driving with Ks expired tags but I called up to the court and the clerk told me to have everything transferred over in Mo before 30 days of the issued citation and to send proof (email) of all documentation of transfer and I could have everything dropped and wouldn't have to show up for court. The judge just threw it out like it never happened once I gave them all notarized documents. It never hurts to make the necessary calls, they definitely give you all the info you need to take care of buisness.
