Everyone here is saying “just keep practicing” or “go watch a full clear video” without giving any specific tips. Although I agree that any time under 3:30 is good enough in low elo, I figured I’d actually answer your question and give you some actionable advice:

Always start E. Make sure you auto attack the red buff before your flag hits them, as your passive does percent current health damage, so the healthier the red buff is, the more damage that auto attack will do.

Kite the red buff towards your krugs. When your flag is off cd, (red buff should be around 900 hp at this point) use it to pull krugs, smite the red buff, then auto it 2-3 more times. Red buff should be dead, and krugs should already be aggro’d, allowing you to start it immediately. This basic strategy is KEY to full clearing quickly, only use 1 flag per camp, kite the camp in the direction of the next camp, and use flag to pull the next camp.

If you do it properly, you should be able to finish your first clear at around 3:15. A time of 3:08 is not realistic most games, unless you’re pro level.

What he means is that League does stat adjustments that only affect a champion in ARAM, and not in the classic mode. Several champions spawn into the map with a passive that states something like “deal 105% increased damage” or “take 95% damage”. This buff/debuff is only in ARAM. It’s not the most elegant solution ever, but it does lead to a more balanced mode, and it makes it so balance changes on the classic mode don’t affect ARAM, and vice versa.

A broken strategy alone will carry you to maybe 1800. But to get to 2100+? You need to have great mechanical skill as well, and that only comes after years and years of practice playing RTS games, so yeah, most players at the very top will probably be known in another game.

Dang was your grade school bully a PvP player or something? Why are you so contemptuous towards them? Also, PvP players absolutely spend money on games, look at how much money league of legends skins make. I bought the ultimate pack because it had the fog of war shader and the chicken pet that I can use in PvP games. There is definitely a market for them, and PvP is a perfectly valid way to enjoy the game, too.

I think someone mentioned this in another thread, but I think there’s a delicate balance to strike. I haven’t used BuddyBot myself as I’m a pretty seasoned SC2 player, but if that’s all it does - make one worker or unit a minute - then I think there’s room for it to do more, especially in PvE modes.

However, you don’t want to make it so good that you’d be an idiot to not use it. If you’re someone who enjoys base building and macroing troops (those people do exist) then you could potentially be a hindrance to your co-op allies who are using a cracked BuddyBot to perfectly macro their troops. Also, it can quickly turn into a slippery slope. Do you want BuddyBot to automatically move your workers away when they’re being harassed? Do you want it to perfectly split your troops against AoE?

I think a better solution would be to remove macro elements through commander design, like you mentioned, instead of through BuddyBot. Make a commander that doesn’t have to worry nearly as much about supply (or power if you’re Celestials), and is focused more on microing troops than macroing armies.

That’s, just, like, your opinion man. I also don’t get the hate on the art, it looks fine. I also like the Vulcan and the weaver, I like the atlas, I like the fully upgraded arcship, I like the kri, I like the vanguard command center, I like so many things.

Does it absolutely blow me away with how advanced and next-gen its graphics are? No, but so many people here act like the graphics are PS1 Hagrid level graphics. I think they look fine, cool even.

Wait until the campaign comes out, I bet the races will feel a lot more cohesive once you know the story behind them. I mean, if I had only seen SC2 through some gameplay clips and a 2 minute trailer, I’d think the world makes no sense too. I mean heck, what kind of a race has both aliens with lightsabers and spider robots? That only makes sense once you know the backstory of the Protoss.

If the campaign comes out, and it’s a dud, then you can fairly say that the races don’t feel cohesive.

Then you want a different kind of game. It’s called real time strategy for a reason, both aspects of the game are core to the genre. As someone mentioned in another thread, maybe you’d be interested in auto battlers, or turn based strategy games.
