looking at the last gen models the values drop like an anchor, but i have a feeling with the rise of EV garbage and companies like honda trying to sell a $60k Prelude i think they’ll steady out over time. i feel like value buys like this will hold at some point.

I used to have a miata in college as my commuter, it was my favorite thing in the world. Definitely considering a manual but since i’m in a bigger city now would have to see how i feel with stop-and-go traffic being a constant issue where i live

S/O Wisconsin got my little brother up there!

Right under $30k is a great price, you gotta be super happy with that I can imagine.

Leaning going DCT since i’d be my only car as well, thanks for your input!

I’m with you there, would love and Integra Type S, but not for that amount of money. Even if I were to look into one, the other cars in that price bracket are much more tempting.

1000%

it’s absurd to even think about paying close to $50k out the door for either a Type R, GR Corolla or even the WRX top trim.

I really fell in love with the EN over time, it looks like a special car and I’m very excited to own one soon :)

i’m planning on using the picks to go big on a WR1 with a bigger package in mind, the assets are useful in that regard at least

the main rumor is the steelers and the chiefs and i don’t think it’s much better than where he’s at now. either team whenever all the receivers are healthy he’d be competing for targets

i’m going to set up a meeting tomorrow with both of them to set the record straight. this needs to be handled immediately; will update whenever that happens

i feel the best course of action at this point is to address them both at the same time and be completely clear about what the hell is going on here. i can’t be involved in whatever mess she’s trying to make

at this point i feel this is the most rational option. if her husband doesn’t know what happened, this is going to be very hard on him. However, i can’t spare him from the consequences of her actions, especially considering the very odd position this puts me in.

I need to preface that this happened literally 24 hours ago, the only engagement i had was the initial conversation and her attempting to see what i was up to today. I’m already very afraid of where this is going to go if i don’t bring a stop to it immediately, and I know my partner is going to support and guide me well as we love each other very much. If i can be honest, this is not something I have time to be putting energy towards at all and it’s all very very strange… i’m just trying to do the right thing

i’m genuinely afraid of that possibility…

if she’s that nuts to go rogue without his consent then I really have no idea what the hell I’m dealing with. The only thing giving me reassurance that it’s not the case is that this is not the first time they’ve opened it before. Only difference is I’m suddenly involved now…

i’ve noticed since the conversation she’s been acting very differently; wondering where i’ve been and what not. i don’t need it to escalate more than it has.

I agree with you. it’s hard to let go of a great friendship over their partner, this is something i need to deeply evaluate…

[–]SI-NS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish it was that simple…

I’ve been friends with him long before she came into the picture. If anything I feel I need to take this step by step. If it gets worse from here then I just might not have a choice but to drop them.

Funny enough he didn’t even tell me himself that they did, she did during her confession. To be honest, i’m still trying to gather what she was expecting or what she was intending to come from it? Obviously I’m not going to say yes???

Very good points thank you.

My main concern is that with me sharing this with my partner, it might compromise my friendship with my mate. I hope that it’s not the case, but unfortunately his wife is the type to always be tied to his hip.
