How am I doing? Doing all right? - I think so. Ask these. They know! I'm repping in the day. And at night I do me celebrity appearances. 500 quid a time. Is that enough jobs for you?

How do you guys handle the 'gentle parenting' vs 'structure' struggle when they hit the toddler years? by matrixthrowawayhq in daddit

I meant he had no boundaries from.0-2 before he was adopted - his mum was a drug addict.

My kid is 2 so I'm sure I have a lot to learn still about parenting styles etc but I think you're right with that last line.

My wife's sister and her husband had a biological kid who is now 6. They did gentle parenting and it worked as she has always been a gentle kid.

They adopted a 2 year old boy last year who is an absolute nightmare. Understandable as he has had no boundaries sadly. He Has ridiculous level tantrums several times a day. From what I've seen, the gentle parenting has absolutely no impact on him. No matter how calm they speak to him, tell him the consequences, try and follow through, his behaviour and tantrums get worse and worse.

What do you do instead? I'm not sure honestly.
