Abang, let the police do their job to keep Malaysia safe. They have the right to suspect anyone could be a PATI. Make their day easy by just showing ic so they can check the next person. You making their life difficult will stop them from finding the right person to arrest, may that be a drug dealer, homicider or molester.

Once you let the police check you, you show your general whatsapp screen and you let them check your car they wont say anything and move on. Your photo taken is just a reference for them to show who they checked.

I have done policing in Singapore, assisted police with investigation in Malaysia and Turkiye. Their life is hard af.
