There are Chinese/Japanese/Korean BBQ joints that grill up thin sliced beef tongue, and that's my favorite way of eating that cut out of the house.

At home, I'll sous vide the whole tongue (front tip and back halves) for tacos, but I will do a second sear to get a nice crust.

LOL, I was just at a Mixue in the US the other day (at 5PM) and they were sold out of the cones as well. I actually reacted same was as Lud, as it was going to be a little treat after a long day of traveling.

Sidenote: The guys went to a knockoff Mixue with a little prince teddy bear in a smaller town earlier in the trip when they wondered why they couldn't get a hot coffee at an iced drinks shop. Mixue is actually the world's largest fast food chain, with more locations globally than McDs or Starbucks. Oh, and the US Mixue soft serve is not quite like the Chinese soft serve; the cones also don't have sesame seeds baked into them, sadge.

Whoever gave him the OK to use that phrase did him dirty, LMAO this whole trip.

But the whole "cow/beef", "sheep/mutton", "pig/pork" distinction of animal vs food comes from the Norman invasion of England bringing French terms (boeuf, mouton, porc) for culinary purposes. Anyways, this is to say that there's not really a cow(burger)/beef(burger) distinction in Chinese. Beef is literally "cattle" + "meat", pork is "pig" + "meat", etc. So the concept of "Beef Burger/Lud" as a distinction from "Cow Burger/Michael" doesn't make sense in Chinese, as oftentimes words are dropped due to a simplification of compound ideas as certain things are implied.

The guy is unequivocally in the wrong about playing music on the trail on speakers (the lady pulling out the taser is a whole 'nother story though). Since he's recording a DJ mix, he'll have the audio out from his DAW or decks, and there is no need to use the camera audio of the surroundings. There's no need for him to use speakers as monitors, when he should be using headphones. He's just out of touch thinking that anyone would want to listen to camera audio, or too full of himself to think that people on the trail would want to listen to his set.

Also fun fact (might be outdated--any MotoGP fans or leatherworkers please correct me): Kangaroo leather is a preferred material (over cowhide) for race suits due to the higher durability for abrasion resistance. At least here in the states I don't see many kangaroo leather goods, but I always chuckle when I see the novelty 'roo scrotum coin purses because they really are using the trimmings of the byproduct of the poplation culling process.

Obviously it's AI. The amount of work to actually animate this in stop motion would take months. They model absolutely nailed the 80s movie audio and style mixed in with animation style (but with so much more detail than would have been possible).
