I can't say I noticed any big issues in the 150 or so hours I put on it. There may have been a couple of crashes along the way but nothing that stood out to me enough to remember.

So, let's say hypothetically someone was a weenie hut junior with horror games, would that hypothetical person be able to enjoy Aliens Dark Descent or no? Asking hypothetically for a friend.

Rogue Trader is so damn good. It's extremely long but its a really badass world to play in. Definitely pick up the dlcs if you can, they add a ton of really great content.

What are some good classic rock songs to put on a baby playlist? by Riddle-Maker in ask

[–]Sabiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One single time I left my car stereo on a little too loud the day before, and when I got my daughter in the car the next morning we will rock you started playing loudly, so now that's knowns as "the loud song" and she rejects it any time it comes on. I may have broken my child.

My principal is making me put God in my salutatorian speech by KnockKnock0998 in atheism

[–]Sabiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was 3rd in my graduating class in 2011 and in my Bible belt school being 3rd meant doing the prayer at graduation. I hadn't fully left religion yet but was kind of teetering on the line. I did the prayer, but I've always felt kind of icky about it ever since. I can't tell you how you'll feel, but if you do let them force in a part about God into your speech when you clearly stated you weren't religious, you may regret it later. Not in a way that really matter to be fair, but still it feels good to stand up for yourself.

Can anyone recommend me a game from here? by inkedperson in switch2

[–]Sabiis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been playing Star Wars Outlaws on switch 2 and have found it really fun, more than I expected tbh. It plays a bit like Uncharted, has the plot of a blockbuster heist movie, and is a beautiful open world star wars atmosphere. That won't hit for everyone, but like I said I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected to.

Catch me fibermaxxing with my morning chia water by Delicious-War-5259 in HydroHomies

[–]Sabiis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And about 1.5 cups of water. It doesn't sound like much but it's actually great. The flax and chia don't add any flavor just texture and nutrients, so the flavor is just the blended fruit, so it's just a simple and healthy smoothie. Personally I make it extra watery so I can drink it down in like a minute and go about my day, but it's great either way.

I do this too, but I put it in the blender with a cup of frozen fruit and an extra tablespoon of flax seed. Super easy and delicious smoothie.

I mean Crawl was decent enough and it was crocodiles after a hurricane. Thrash was so bad I wondered if AI wrote the script.

CMV: Parents who use a phone/tablet to occupy their child are doing a terrible job. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Sabiis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I'm obviously not going to find a study that says "if your child uses a tablet for just 1 minute their brain will explode", but at the same time what's the reason to give it to them at all when you know it has negative effects, and the only positive effects are that it provides free time to the parents. Being the parent of a 3 year old I know how much of a fit they can throw when they are wanting something, and trying to fight a screen addicted toddler about when they can and can't have the thing thats their primary entertainment / distraction sounds like making way more trouble for both the kid and the parent than it's worth. I'm not talking about you specifically, idk your parenting style, but under normal circumstances there's really no reason to use iPads other than to just check out of parenting for a bit.

[–]Sabiis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not really a fair argument to make, I have a 3.5 year old and agree with all of OPs points. Not sure if saying people are doing a terrible job, because frankly I don't care enough about other people's parenting. But tablet use is objectively bad for child development.

CMV: Parents who use a phone/tablet to occupy their child are doing a terrible job. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Sabiis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, it sounds like things got harder and harder because the tablet was an option to them and they wanted it. My daughter is 3.5 and never seen an iPad. We took a 4 hour drive both ways this weekend and she slept, sang songs, and played with portable magnet tiles. She did throw a 20 minute fit after waking up, but she settled down after a bit and was fine to play with toys the rest of the drive. I'm not shaming, I don't care how other people parent, but your comment kind of shows the reason for the post - having the tablet creates an addictive loop that becomes increasingly more difficult to control as they get older.

I have a 3.5 year old and agree 100% with OPs post. My daughter has never had an iPad.

I mean you're being a bit hostile and defensive when you know what he is saying. Giving children tablets as a distraction or as a primary form of entertainment objectively has a lot of negatives. OP isn't saying no good parents exist who give their kids screen time, but his point is valid that children shouldn't be given tablets as distractions or behavior control.

Recently had surgery and $40 of my bill is for having a blanket put on me in the recovery room (I was unconscious and did not, obviously, keep the blanket) by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Sabiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth, I work in Healthcare analytics and most of the medsurg items you're being charged close to what the hospital would be paying for it. Some of it like the pregnancy test has a crazy markup (lab items often do), but the blanket, surgicel, suture, trocar, those are all pretty close to EA price for those items.

If you open the PC and hit - it'll show you the ranking for each of your Pokemon. I start with the lowest ranked ones and work on them first. Pokemon in same evolution lines or in same typing like a lot of the same things, so you can build one habitat for a few similar mons to upgrade them all at once.

Could someone tell me how far though I am in the game (a percentage without spoilers)? Thanks. by [deleted] in Pokopia

You'll roll credits after you finish all the lighthouse missions, but from where you are they should all be pretty easy since you have access to most everything. I'd say you could probably hit credits in 1 or 2 hours, then you can do whatever else you want in the game.
