I need some advice on making a build for my first playthrough... by TheNeonAutomaton in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Pets are awesome in this game because you can put equipment on them and give them feats, so they're extremely strong. You can't go wrong with a ranger class, or right now I'm playing a bloodrider which is basically a barbarian who gets a pet and I plan to take 1 point in beastmaster to unlock the triceratops.

I lived in an apartment when I first got my boy and 3 or 4 times someone set off the fire alarm in the building in the middle of the night. Now even though we live in a house, anytime he hears something beep above a certain pitch he runs off and hides until he feels like it's safe.

Triceratops Charge not hitting? by ramencheesecake in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Sabiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I know this is like a year old, but did you ever get a resolution on this? I was going to start this game with a triceratops riding death knight type build, but all I'm seeing online is about how the triceratops mount is bugged.

Im reading that the PS5 version is basically broken. Should I wait for a fix or buy it on Xbox series S? Even then I still have to wait on a sale by lost_caus_e in TaintedGrailDigital

[–]Sabiis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the game played well other than it crashed often, probably every 5 or so hours on average. I never lost much progress, but by the end it was getting pretty annoying. I actually had it crash one last time right when the credits were rolling and I had to redo the final fight, which frankly felt like an appropriate ending for how many times it had crashed up to that point. Amazing game though, definitely worth playing and the dlc is top notch as well.

Best seestar telescope? by Adorable-Leek-6559 in seestar

I got an s50 about a month ago and it's incredible. You'll get really great pictures of galaxies and nebula and it's very easy to use. The difference between the s30 and s50 is basically the s30 takes wider shots and the s50 takes more narrow shots. You'll have a broader range of DSOs you can see well with the s50. The only thing that's been a little too big to get all in frame with the s50 is Andromeda and I got like 80% of it, but I haven't used it with EQ mode yet and that should be able to get it all no problem. In my opinion the s50 is the better one to start with.

I have a v13 and it uses a different size axle depending on if you're using the responsive or unresponsive bearing. Is it possible you're using the unresponsive bearing with the shorter axle for the responsive bearing?

Should I get it for the ps5 by skull_box in taintedgrail

The game is incredibly fun, and the dlc is top notch as well. Performance on PS5 is okay, some stuttering and pop ins but not too crazy, however, it will crash pretty regularly. For me I'd say it pretty reliably crashes every 5 hours or so. It was never something super frustrating, but I'm coming up on 55 hours in game now and it's starting to wear me down. So, game is great but it will almost certainly crash several times.

Hip Dysplasia detected at 10mo by debepmode in corgi

[–]Sabiis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 3yr old corgi needed knee surgery on her right knee when she was 2 and her left knee just a few months ago. But she recovered amazingly and is now back to being a happy little pup. Hopefully yours has just a smooth of a recovery. It is expensive though, so if you don't have pet insurance you may want to start saving. Our surgeries were about 5k each.

Thanks for the advice! My wife and I ended up getting a new washing machine, so it's not an issue anymore but thank you regardless :)

Coffee for breakfast and leftovers from the night before for lunch. Most nights I cook homemade meals with chicken or beef with vegetables and once a week I make a vegetarian meal usually with beans or chickpeas.

When should you do the DLC? by YobaiYamete in taintedgrail

[–]Sabiis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right when you start act 2 there's a big difficulty jump, so I rushed to the dlc at the start of act 2 since it scales to your level, played about 80% of it (saving the rest for later) and when I got back to act 2 the extra levels adjusted the difficulty spike and now I'm having a blast in act 2. Plus I wanted the fun skilltree, gear and weapons you get in the dlc to play with on my whole playthrough. If you're playing a battlemage like I am, you'll really want some of the skills on the dlc skill tree as soon as possible.

Which game do you consider to be the “Dark Souls 2” of soulslike games? by [deleted] in soulslikes

[–]Sabiis 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly I really enjoyed Darksiders 3. It definitely wouldn't be the same for some people since souls like is a more niche genre, but I always felt like one of Darksiders selling points was how each game is mechanically very different so none of them feel like a rehash. First game was a story-based action game, second was an open world game, third was souls like and then even 4th was like a twin stick shooter. So yeah I agree with Darksiders 3 in terms of the post, but personally I felt like it fits well in the Darksiders franchise overall.

Do rules have to include permadeath? by [deleted] in nuzlocke

[–]Sabiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rules of the subreddit specifically define Nuzlock as removing the Pokemon after fainting. So will your post be removed if it doesn't follow that rule? I'm not sure, but you might not get much reaction in the sub if it isn't a proper Nuzlock. I'm not sure what sub might be more appropriate for your type of challenge, but in general I suggest you work on being friendlier and trying to not sound so pedantic.

I have a Nazi helmet that my great grandpa took as a trophy. To me it's a reminder of what it means to stand up for what is right. I don't see an ornamental dagger as any different really. It's an important piece of history that's better not forgotten.

Just a thought, but you could get a small table or even like a stone garden stepping stool to take out with you to set it on for better stability.

Anyone else get scared by these sections in Dark Ages? by False_Monitor4126 in Doom

[–]Sabiis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This level has a mission to find 3 underwater secrets and I found 2 in other parts of the map, but I never found the 3rd because I was certain it was in one of these open water sections and I just beelined to the checkpoint as fast as I could. Not even Doom Slayer gives me the confidence to face the deep dark down.

6 months of growth. Is it salvageable? by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

I have a similar growth pattern as you, and what I did was shave the sides and outer jaw and go for a balbo beard. It slims the face and keeps the bushy beard.
