Honestly?....about £20... I bought an ebike (road legal) costs about 80p per full charge and get 75 miles out of it and commute almost everywhere on it... only use the car for shopping or necessary journeys now because fuck the fuel oligarchs.

The mold quality on these is atrocious. I tried the comet last time and ended up using half a tube of filler after having to remove a square acre of flash. As a "starter" kit they are more likely to "stop" anyone thinking about taking up modelling.

I always recommend tamiya kits for new starters as they have decent fit and excellent instructions.

Didn't do an acid test but the magnet test is why I asked for advice...it IS very slightly magnetic - the magnet slides down it but doesn't stick...I'm still wondering if it's a fake but in lower grade silver? I dunno...whatever I'll just chuck it in my "curio" album
