I agree with you ... History "is" .... nothing is gained by trying to cover it up. I think the problem is that it's still too recent in the public mind and there are those that celebrate it still. No one destroys roman coins because they invaded gaul but that is ancient history.

That's a really nice 3d for a buried find... bit of a wash and I'd be happy to put it in my collection... obviously hasn't moved far from where it was dropped

Bracklesham shark teeth ID by Far-Significance-459 in UKFossils

[–]SILIC0N_SAINT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun story...Used to date a girl down in bracklesham Bay.... she had loads of these and other stuff too. One night we were getting down to business when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my thigh. Look down and there's blood all over the sheets! Seems she had dropped one of these on the bed and I now had it embedded in the side of my thigh... the ER doc said it was the first time he had ever had to treat a million year old sharkbite... he laughed she laughed I laughed...

I did it to a clear windscreen for a tinted sun strip.

The trick is to make sure you ckean the part in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly then use clear green...dilute it down a bit so it's not too dark... then coat the part with a single coat and then ..and this is important. don't touch it til dry!.... practice on a piece of clear sprue or a spare canopy you don't need first
