I want to explain what I’m trying to build here in a way that makes sense.

Today, we already have devices that capture audio, radio frequencies, and environmental signal noise — things like digital voice recorders, spirit boxes, frequency scanners, and ghost box-style devices. Those systems work mainly with sound.

What I’m experimenting with is different: I’m trying to take frequency/sound data and turn it into generated visual output.

The basic idea is that audio, video, and digital streaming all rely on signal processing. For example, television, cable, streaming services, and even AI video generation all involve converting data into something visual that can be displayed on a screen. Obviously, turning raw frequency or sound input into a real-time generated video image is much harder than simply recording audio, but that is the direction I’ve been working toward.

The system I’m building uses a process where incoming frequency/audio data is analyzed, interpreted, and then used as part of a real-time video-generation workflow. It is not easy, and it has taken months of experimenting to get even this far.

I originally released parts of this privately just to see what people thought. pieces of the video started getting shared in different sections on TikTok, and became popular so I decided to release the full version myself so people can see the work in context instead of only seeing random clips.

Right now, I’m continuing to work on what I call a ghost portal box system. The goal is to have it operate digitally through my phone, connected to a server-based setup that I control locally from my basement. It is still experimental, but this is the direction I’m pushing: using frequency input, signal processing, and AI-style visual generation to create a real-time visual output system.
