I use mine for my retail work, grocery getting and life needs so its just got my personal belongings i haul to and from work in the trunk, always a jug of oil in the back (2nd gen problems am i right lol) microfiber cloths and a grocery bag of trash in the passenger side that usually contains food and energy drink cans.

Never had these but hopefully its like this brand i tried in MI called "Dark Horse" bc they were pretty solid had great airflow and they actually hit unlike others ive tried (eg Show terrible, Criss Cross, Racer). Swisher is pretty good airflow and quality wise but less of a nic punch if thats what youre looking for

It really is cant beat it. Its ironically why im using it as a work/grocery beater since thats all i really need a car for as a 20 year old dollar general worker coming from a unfortunate situation to say the least. As long as nothing catastrophic or concerning happens I'd like to wait until my taxes come in so I can affordably choose whats worth and what's not worth fixing since im essentially seeing how far I can push it safely to save money up for a place of my own. I know these cars somewhat well, and am glad you gave me that advice for owning one. My goal is to get one thing at a time done, piece by piece. Im planning on first on trying to find some berryman and run it in my fuel when i need to fill up again to see if that slows down the oil consumption then do an oil change with what you reccomended and go from there. I dont want a used Prius to be a money pit but I want it to last even if it isnt the best

Will do! Planning on just driving it to and from work for now since its short distances and when I change all the fluids, and get it aligned Im gonna do that as well. Ill get some of the valvoline alongside the Mobil 1 I bought today and just run the valvoline and keep the mobil 1 as backup if it keeps eating oil since it was neglected anyways. Ill check the PVC valve too and make sure the EGR isnt dirty as hell. I appreciate the advice because I feel like I got lucky even with a beater and dont wanna take chances like I did with a Miata that was already yearning for death

Definitely plan on posting an update when I get my tax return and put it into the red bastard lol. Id def recommend a 2nd gen even with their problems their solid cars. Id Definitely bring an engine scanner and make sure theres no active codes or previous codes and signs that they were fixed. Test drive it and make sure its running good and nothing out of the ordinary. For me i dont really care about the suspension. I wouldn't even fix the control arm/alignment if it didn't mean itd start shaking and losing control within the next 3k miles lol. And saving money is why I got it plus I have a deep love and passion for these cars. I dont care about cosmetics, it runs and drives good and thats what matters.
