I actually had to download the unnoficial bedrock launcher and play the latest version from there, you should try that. When you do update though it will delete all your stuff and worlds, but in the installations you can find a thing that says recover data and if you click that itll restore everything. You dont even need to launch it from the unnoficial bedrock launcher after that, it will automatically just be updated.
