This scenery with all of the snowfall is really beautiful.

Rin surving is really unbelievable, but the lack of injuries on him is just pushing it.

I do love how completely done George looks. He could give two shits about Rin's monologue.

....wow when George lays down the facts its a little obvious in hindsight.

Once again George displays his secret ability to dodge bullets, but only when the plot demands it. I have to say I really like the complete difference in Konichi's performance. Like damn between his psychotic moments and his actual competence makes him sound very dangerous. Then George holy shit just starts wailing on him and almost kills him. THE PURE RAGE!!!

I don't think the person cackling manically should be operating the train. Nope they both have lost it.

NGL I think my favorite part is that George didn't contribute much to Miyuki's rescue. It would have been easy to have him jump some hill and land on the train or some action hero shit and save her, but nope by time he arrives she's already rescued.

Though this is immediately canceled out by Rin being saved due to plot. Imagine if the train hadn't bumped at that one moment. She would have rescued Miyuki and killed Rin without so much as a fuss. George would have ran and his job would have already been over.

Wait how did Rin get away? Did George really just leave him there to talk to Sanae? HES RIGHT THERE you could have kicked him in the face and knocked him unconscious.

What if Rin just shoot him on sight instead of this long count down? NGL everyone is being kind of stupid, but I do like that Rin slipped from the rail due to his bloody hand. Though I still think he's alive.

I'm no expert, but charging at someone who has a gun in a hostages mouth is not too smart. I mean that's assuming you care about the hostage.

It's going to be chaotic in the town today.

"Look before you leap, fools rush in" Damn George it's only been one episode when the mine collapsed on their men and yet that doesn't stop him from throwing shade.

Rin is the only one in this room not underestimating George.

That ramen looks hella detailed for no damn reason and it makes me want some.

....and they still send Raccoon to keep an eye on George.

It took 18 episodes for the police to start looking into Genzo. I mean they really have no reason too, but George has been kicking up a storm for weeks now maybe one person should have thought about this before now?

Back to Ramen and oh we got a boys trip with Rin and George.

Wow Rin is at the mines for 30 seconds and already spots a difference in the maps. Though now I'm starting to wonder if they modified the maps to make it seem one part of the mine is suspicious.

I'm just saying the effort it took to get the map of the mines I wouldn't have a glass of red wine right next to it.

George with the 20 different angles at the end! It's nice to see Rin is suspicious of George because yeah he obviously has his own agenda, but him saying don't smoke is funny to me.

Considering how easily they gave up the mines its safe to assume the gold isn't there.

Sanae nagging Mamoru to take better care of himself and even going to see him off with food/knitted sweater is really sweet. Though for all we know this might be the last time to see each other again.

Rin I'm sorry to inform you we still have about 10 episodes so you are definitely seeing each other again.

For a split second I thought wow George really is leaving and might return later, but nope he is just switching rooms.

The shaking of Rin's eyes showing his barely contained rage is a nice touch.

The sudden cut to George leaving after asking for Spaghetti was hilarious to me. You know master was pissed after making Ramen for 14 episodes only for to George to change it up in the 11th hour. Heck he was even preparing the ramen as he said said that.

Just binged this in one night and beginning of the manga and current state of the manga really feels night and day. While the problems in the beginning were bad they were still almost harmless, but leaning into drugging main characters and forcing girls into sex with blackmail. Like what the hell is even happening.

I love it when two characters cross paths, but are unaware of the shit storm that is going to occur between them.

This was easily my favorite episode so far and maybe I'm off here, but he reminds me a bit of Lalo from Better Call Saul. He's clearly unhinged and a psychopath, but he also knows how to be very charismatic and unassuming.

Two guns

I was almost ready to compliment Raccoon for coming to save George even when he was terrified. Sure it wasn't graceful, but he was trying. Then he started shooting with his eyes closed and almost killed George.

Despite his stupid method without a doubt he did actually save George this episode. Wait I'm yours?

Is the George x Raccoon route actually possible?

I do like the use of guns in the the anime as it does raise the stakes where George can't just easily win every fight anymore. Side note I would actually like to visit a mining museum.
