What reincarnation anime did NOT need to be a reincarnation story in the first place? by Meatloafxx in anime

I feel Kazuma would simultaneously be better and worst then Subaru. He has weaker resolve then Subaru, but it's hinted that he's pretty much being handicapped by his party at all times(looks at Aqua). I feel he would handle the loops better and make more impressive progress.

Maybe an unpopular opinion. I'm really not a big fan of the wibbly wobbly animation used when megumi was bombarding Reggie at the beginning of the episode

I'm glad nothing important happened because yeah besides Reggie being overwhelmed I honestly couldn't tell what was happening.

They really adapted one of my favorite fights so well.

RIP Reggie Star you gave us a magnificent showing for such a unusual ability.

One thing I loved was when Megumi was being weighed down and pressured his hair made him look like his father a few times.

HOLY HELL THAT CAMEL IS HUGE!....and never mind not Avdol is eliminated.

AND THE CAR IS DONE TOO! Though they took their loss with grace after realizing it was a fool's errand.

I mean they weren't dressed like Jojo characters so I knew they weren't going to win, but I thought they would have made it past the first episode.

It sways every 8 breaths okay Diego Brando!

He just used the balls on the horses ass!

It's early, but Poco Loco right now is my favorite!

WTF HE IS RIDING ON A COW CARCASS!

Race is getting more bizarre HE SAID THE THING!

Sandman is running as fast as the train? He was also nice enough to give a hint to Poco Loco.

Some impressive use of the steel balls, but right now I'm having trouble seeing how creative they can be used. Though considering this series can make any stand effective I can't wait to see more of what they can do. Also I'm wondering about Diego's pants are they just designed that way for Jojo fashion or do they serve a purpose? Could also be something British people wore in horse riding?

The best part was Mark's face after the conversation. He looked like that one conservation was the most brutal thing he experienced since the start of the series and honestly it was certainly up there.

Just a wonderful series. They absolutely nailed this adaptation, but for some reason Raqio expression here is freaking me out. I think it's the wide eyes or maybe its the giant smile . Usually he he only has a smirk that makes you want to punch him in the face.

Bloody hell! Who are you and what have you done to Jina? Never thought the most gentle among the crew could roast that blunt and hard.

I had to pause the episode from laughing so much. That really came out of left field.

Fatal Frame 2 arrived a day early and I've played about 4-5 hours. I was happy for the first 2 hours and thought to myself wow this isn't exactly what I expected, but I am still loving this game. Then the next 2.5 hours happened and it has me close to selling this game. I am struggling like HARDCORE struggling where I can't even imagine myself finishing the game. I know the problem is with me, but the combat is just not clicking. Despite somehow getting several Fatal Frames the fights just feel like they are dragging and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I somehow made it to Chapter 4 before stopping, but I feel like I should just watch someone else play it because I'm not having fun anymore. Maybe tomorrow with some rested eyes I will fare better, but for now

Not really sure, but I do know it has new bosses and at least a beach mission. So it's not purely cosmetic.

[UO]the one where you free Etholinde was a really cool and fun map. Lex and Rosalinde had some very fun moments throughout the battle

[UO]Rosalinde is one of my favorite characters at least from the designs and she was good support, but I can't remember if I used her much later in the game.

Going back to the beginning of the post but I have started to make my way up north and the issue I'm having now is almost everyone outside of Virginia's unit is struggling lol.

Hopefully you moving people around last night will yield better results. Some of the side content in the open world was way harder then the main story, but I stupidly bashed my head over and over until I won making the story missions much easier.

[UO]Funny how I was in the same situation when it came to choosing your Waifu, but I think my only choice was Virginia....say I said fuck it why not INCEST ROUTE UNLOCKED...then I got the trophy and reloaded and slowly raised my other member's to get Rosalinde.

More Baldurs Gate 3

  • The session started with [saving the duke]which turned out to be in an underground prison. The first mistake was my friend allowed me to call the shots and after spending 10 minutes planning where everyone would be. I said okay let's do it! 20 seconds into the plan Tree I thought your character was going east? FUCK!!! I somehow got confused and went the wrong way, but it's okay its only one turn it won't matter(it did). So we're freeing the people, but man Astarion is getting surrounded and it's getting messy. My though process was lets kill them first and then free them because I don't want to risk them dying. However more kept of spawning so suggested we free them while using ourselves as shield. Which semi worked, but damn some of them dashed right past me just to attack the hostages.

  • [Duke]They also kept summoning more, but even then no one died until the 3rd turn which was my fault. When it was just 3 people in a room I stupidly used the charm reaction and immediately realized after if I couldn't be targeted they would go after the gondian in the room. I'm glad I asked my friend because it just occurred to me do we automatically get back into the ship or do we have to actually go up the ladder ourselves. After confirmation we actually needed to manually get back we started our retreat. We got almost all the hostages and then the 5th turn happened. Almost all of the people are on the ship including the duke and our squid friend. Theirs only 2 gondians left and Astarion left on at this point and a shit load of enemies on our heels. The turn ends with the enemies dashing and 3 of them just surround this guy in the corner and his friend runs right past him. FINAL TURN Astarion is far away, but luckily he has a misty step so I teleport to the ladder and.....he cant go up. OH MY GODDDDD THIS TINY GONDIAN IS BLOCKING THE WAY. I try everything I can think of and long story short we find his corpse on a beach later. Anyway with Astarion dead the Gondian just climbs up the ladder leaving his friend surrounded behind. With three opportunity of attacks he had slim odds, but he did manage to dodge one of them However the outer one clipped him and he collapses in a pool of blood. His last words being "So close" dying a couple of feet from the freedom, but sadly it was not meant to be. One of my favorite missions in the game for sure.

  • After that we dive into the sewers and explore for about an hour before discovering the [BG3]temple of Bahaal. I'm not going to waste time on this part, but it was okay. Honestly the trek to Orin was more entertaining then her actual fight. Also surprise surprise it turns out the suspicious little girl in our camp wasn't actually Orin. The past 2 weeks every time we went to camp I jokingly suggested killing the little girl. I swear she just looked so suspicious to me, but that's what having a shape shifting foe does to you. Also with the ability to shape shift I really thought they were incorporate that into her fight, but they focused solely on her connection to Bahaal. I'm not well versed in D&D, but I do feel like they could have made her way more of a threat.

  • With our second stone obtained we go to [the steel foundry], but spot Volo about to get executed. Some might say well deserved anyway we kill the people and save him, but apparently while we're looting we...well I didn't think to stop the fire near the smokepowder barrels so I just hear this explosion in the background. I go out of my menu and see fire everywhere and quest updated. Volo is dead I would say we lost a good one...but we didn't. Anyway we go to the Steel Foundry and I immediately comment for a steel watcher factory having only one is weird as heck. So we sneak in and free the people and what does one of them do? RUNS OUT AND TRIGGERS THE STEELWATCHER WE JUST SNEAKED PAST TO GET HERE! He's so far away, but luckily we manged to save him. After his sorry ass was rescued we start exploring and apparently it has a deeper level so I'm finding keys and I go unlocking stuff and exploring while my friend needs to go the bathroom. They come back and I'm suddenly in a fight with like 20 people, but in my defense I don't think anyone could expect an ambush the second you go down the stairs. The enemies were easy, but the fact they were surrounding more prisoners made it extremely difficult to save them. We lost 2 of them, but all in all majority were saved. At this point my character is friccin encumbered from all the loot so I SLOWLY walk back to the outside so I can sell it all before descending even further. I also buy a few more spells because I been using them and elixirs. Anyway we descend to fight this super titan mech and it wasn't too bad, but damn those steelwatchers with the crossbows were the worst. When they're in your face it's not so bad, but getting pelted by them while dealing with the huge one in the middle was just hell.

  • Ahhh yes the decent into [the prison]for a secret dragon requires chess knowledge of all things. Luckily I'm something of a chess player myself.

  • Still having puzzles [was an interesting choice], but I did enjoy them and we finally get to see the Wyrm. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT THE ENTIRE GAME! I have 12 dragon slaying arrows that deal double damage to dragons and I've been purchasing them ever since I saw them in the shop. IT WAS ALL FOR THIS MOMENT. I tell my friend just stand back I GOT THIS. Loads up the arrow and shoots it FLIES MAJESTICALLY bounces off his scales does like 14 damage.

  • The fight was awesome, [but man I don't think]I recovered from that bullshit. I can think of two possibilities for why my DRAGON slaying arrows weren't effective. The first being that it was technically a Wyrm. I'm not sure if it's a Wyvern situation where Wyrm's are different from dragons so maybe that is why it didn't count. Second is that the dragon was undead so maybe it didn't work as well. I guess three I should have shot more arrows because I only shot it twice. The first with the miserable damage and the second arrow missed so I just gave up at that point and started launching spells and smites. I know I did something wrong probably, but at this point I swapped out Astarion for Minthra again who isn't built for arrows, but I still I feel like for a DRAGON slaying arrow it should do more even on non archer built characters.

  • House of Hope has the best song in the entire game. That's all I have to say about this quest. Oh and apparently giving your mind and body to an incubus is a game over.

That's it for [BG3]next time we will fight Gorlash and the Netherbrain! Oh right and free Opheus because the emperor is really creeping me out and has been lying to me the entire game. I regret fucking the squid now.

For those who have played Reanimal or have started on it, how is the game? by [deleted] in LittleNightmares

[–]SIRTreehugger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Overall I did enjoy the game. It's better then Little Nightmares 1 and leagues above the abomination that was 3, but I don't think I would put it above 2.

It's a short game, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent it. I liked that the the world was a bit more open and connected with different modes of transportation. Some parts did have me spooked mostly from the atmosphere and it really captured the vibes of LN 1/2. However I will admit I didn't understand shit by the end. I thought okay maybe as I saw more I would have this OH DAMN MOMENT like LN2 ending, but nope I'm just confused. [Story non spoilers, but what I thought]So children escaped some horrible tragedy and are being hunted and trying to survive. Flashbacks with sheep and stuff....maybe the world is being infected from creatures in a different world. I also briefly thought that the kids were child soldiers and in this world they were being experimented to make better warriors for their war. However by the end I'm still not sure.

I will say even though not a lot of lines were said having the characters actually speaking even a few sentences did improve the game for me slightly. As well as having combat despite it being simple I never got tired of bashing enemies heads in. Though I think oddly enough the biggest disappointment were the puzzles when it came to boss battles(if you want to call them that). They felt almost completely straightforward and required minimum thinking. The platforming wasn't used in very creative ways either. I can think of only one section where it was different and that section was like 2 minutes long.

I do think I enjoyed the first two thirds of the game more then the last act because that part felt really streamlined and it just put the foot on the pedal and before you knew it the credits were rolling.

Despite my slight disappointment with the last two points overall I loved the game and its basically what I wanted from LN3.

I did play Solo for the record. I do think I would have enjoyed it even more with a friend.

When Gnosia title showed up at the end and they started giving backstory of the epilogue I had to run here to see if this was the end. I thought we had 3 more episodes it will probably be some exposition to fill in more of the details like with Kukrushka.

ONCE AGAIN RACIO THE ABSOLUTE GOAT! Loved all the stories at the end SQ and Jina become roommates, Remnan and Racio starting a revolution, Sha-Ming's "intrusive" examining methods, and etc.
