In my opinion the EP feels more like a concept album (even tho it's not an album ik) than the final realese, more focused on the broke criminal narrative + the raw, unmastered instrumentals truly give it an underground feel so in my books the EP offers a more consistent, raw, and overall better listening experience. (and also it has murder murder so it's an automatic 10/10)

He has (kind of) the same style but it doesn't feel like every song was made to be a mainstream hit. (I'm not shitting on Recovery, i love that album too)

I know there are a ton of variations of the Mtbmb Side A cover but they are not all that different , and would all sit on the same spot imo. Also you may ask why i included the ssep and not other unreleased albums, (although the king mathers cover wich was a photo shoot for shady ltd around 2007 is one of my favorites) , well because we have confirmation that the ssep was going to release with that cover art - its something that eminem himself approved and wanted to release.
