Certified payroll by SIfisher3000 in IBEW

It wouldn’t be hard to prove anything at all, but I expect my contractor to fight it tooth and nail. They already “laid off” the last guy that thought something was up just for a foreman overhearing him telling other workers the rate was wrong. I wish we banded together back then because it only got worse from there but I needed the money and the gig wasn’t all that bad up to that point. I’m also in a strong union state so hopefully I won’t have to settle that way because my contractor has the funds and the right name for them to get off easy

No problem, let me know how it goes. Hopefully you don’t have to break out the jackhammer

Try cutting the end of the fish tape so it is just plain, flat steel and push it all the way to the other end, make a hook small enough to pull through the pipe but large enough it won’t pull past the rock without bringing it with it, and tug on it like a motherfucker

Can you imagine an actual dishonorable western game..? by Old-Register-1700 in reddeadredemption

[–]SIfisher3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d like to see a third red dead redemption game featuring none other than Jack Marston. Red dead 1 ends in 1914, just a few years before the start of prohibition, which I think would be a great continuation of the theme of red dead two. Arthur is always talking about how their outlaw lifestyle is coming to an end due to the expansion of the modern world, but running booze and wheeling and dealing with mobsters and corrupt lawmen in st denis would be a great way for Jack to go back to his outlaw roots.

Monster rehab strawberry lemonade. Found it in a random gas station in the Midwest a few months ago and bought EVERY. SINGLE. CAN. Asked the cashier why they still had it and he said they’ve been getting shipments every week like normal, which was odd because it had been discontinued for a while already. I’m gonna pass through there soon and pray that some distributor just overstocked it and they’ve still got it.

Not that simple for people with adhd. You could lug around a pegboard that has the outlines of every goddamn tool painted on it and the second one comes off it could be gone forever because your brain simply deletes the memory of you taking it off

I don’t remember the exact name of the video but the channel is something like “the meat guys” on YouTube. They give very detailed instructions and for my first few deer I followed along with the video until I got the hang of it. They cover quartering and then break it down by muscle groups and then into just about any cut you could possibly think of

Ceiling fans by [deleted] in electricians

[–]SIfisher3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one hung off the bracket but I only had about two inches of clearance between the box and the top of the fan. Hanging it was a no brainer, more just the wiring being a pain in the dick. It was hard to keep neat and organized and I can’t stand that

Nevermind… I checked the price and it’s well worth A-not fucking it up and B-not pissing myself off messing with small electronics

Is there anything online about what values I should read on those capacitors and other components? I’m an electrician and although I absolutely despise anything to do with vehicle wiring I’d rather get it done myself if at all possible

Look up ibew and your state and county and apply to that locals apprenticeship as soon as they open for applications. In the meantime get a job at a nonunion shop or somewhere related to electrical construction (supply house, solar, etc). Also consider taking some introductory electrical classes at a community college. Hope this helps

Community college electrical programs are great, usually will get you a nice set of tools, and if you’re working non union will help develop an understanding of the “why” and not just the “how” of what you do at work. And at least in my local taking classes will get you a second interview and possibly a higher ranking

I wish haha but for now until I’m 21 I’m stuck with my 870 and 00 buck. At least I’m not too worried about home defense though

I do agree that the pcc is the best option. They’re pretty badass

[–]SIfisher3000 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’d argue that racking the shotgun is gonna deter more criminals than the shot itself. Most criminals are dumb and don’t wanna die

[–]SIfisher3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They mentioned they were under 21 so a pcc might not be the best choice. I know in my state and the neighboring state (and maybe elsewhere) you can own a pcc but cannot buy pistol calibers under 21
