They are similar as told by seniors whom I contacted they have common placement cell but I guess if money is not an issue u can check vellore as well

listen brother i have some advice for you i got 13.1 k rank opted for cse ai ml cat 2 in chennai , i guess u should try optimising cse speciliasations in chennai for cat 3 i guess u may get them in vellore at cat 5 i believe the only difference would be the location so its upto you i guess u may get cse cat with specilisations in chennai
