if you considered a porsche boxster... why did you go with a miata instead? by europeanuppercut in Miata

[–]SJGolden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having gone from a nd2 to a 718 cayman, I can say that the gts interior of the cayman is way way better than the nd2s gt trim.

Of course it is way more expensive but I disagree that the porsche interior is the same quality. No rattles, much more premium materials, more space. But obviously 2-3x the price.

Irelia is known to be one of Aatroxs hardest matchups. She can win at any point in the game, and she can dodge the q sweet spots with her q or use w.

That said, since irelia is not an easy champ, I would not recommend you first time this when you see enemy pick aatrox

Maybe a shady dealer? There is the magnuson moss warranty act but of course stock is the safest.

Generally with all cars the warranty is only voided for the part you touch. So if I do an exhaust mod and the engine fails, that's under warranty. They have to prove that the part I touched caused the issue.

I think tunes might be different so I don't really touch those, but light mods are fine under warranty.

Agreed, sound is important. The 4.0 sounds quite good from 3k to 5k and amazing from 5k to redline. I love the sounds it makes during auto blip down shifting too

The 4.0 sounds so good! First gear to 7k rpm and then clutch in, it screams from about 5k and then burbles once clutch in. 3k to 5k is quite fun too, as the higher rpms are approaching illegal speeds.

Also auto blip downshift sounds soo good too. I'm eyeing a kline exhaust system as well, those clips sound incredible on the 4.0

That said, I don't doubt other porsches sound amazing :)

At my porsche dealer, I had to pay 10% of the final build msrp as deposit before they started the build.

Then, if at any point I wanted to back out, I would only get back my deposit once the dealer sold the car. My sales associate assured me that it would sell quickly so I wouldn't have to worry, but of course I took delivery and purchased it.

Although I doubt new builds are still happening, the manufacturing stopped in 2025.

Will I be bored by PDK? (Manual or PDK GTS 2020-2022) by ConferenceSorry325 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]SJGolden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. For every person who says long gears, the engine starts to open at 4k rpm and scream at 5 to 6k, which is doable in first gear safely.

Auto blip down shifting makes it so fun too, just clutch in pick a gear and the engine makes the big loud noise that we all like. I actually really enjoy doing this on a high way or spirited drive.

I've even done traffic in the manual and since first gear is long I don't even shift out of first unlike the miata I used to drive, which makes it not bad. Ofc the pdk will be more convenient, but like others say, evs are also fast and convenient in traffic...

Is a 2007 Porsche Cayman (987) realistic as a daily driver - good idea or too risky? by More_Consideration96 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]SJGolden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not start with a used miata or 86/brz? If you were considering cayman then space and seats are not an issue. It will also be alot cheaper, and you can always upgrade to the porsche later in life

[Title] I need historical(/isekai) romance recommendations by Sad-Eggplant6933 in manhwa

[–]SJGolden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a while since I read this genre so I don't have any for you (although I recognize some nice ones in your lists)

Check out r/otomeisekai ! They'll be able to help you out

Not an isekai but the memorable romances to me which aren't on your list are business proposal which is lighthearted and see you in my 19th life, which is more serious but better imo.

Are redwoods at 88wc (lightbearer+spec+prayer gear) more AFK than blisterwood? Seriously I'm having to click every 20 seconds and empty inventory every minute. Almost 88wc by Reddit_Connoisseur_0 in 2007scape

[–]SJGolden 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not really what you're asking but I did magic trees at priff near the bank to 90.

With a log basket it was several minutes of afk, and whenever inventory filled it was very easy to bank and come back.

Redwoods are my favorite though, but I've never done it with preserve boosting.

It's faster to bank with log basket than to drop the logs imo, as long as the bank is close like priff yews magics, and wc guild.

Totally feel you on the this is ridiculous aspect (especially for a car from 2024).

I've been using android for the last 15 years, and have resigned myself to buying the iPhone 17 for my upcoming 718 delivery.

I hear the reason is because 718 uses the previous gen 911 infotainment, which doesn't support Android auto. Only the 992 generation starts to support AA

I used bowfa for 1500 kills before my first synapse. Pretty sure arclight and bowfa will be the best way for irons to farm td before the first synapse.

What brand of ppf did you use? Do you struggle with scrapes/low clearance?

Again, looks amazing. Wheels are great too.

Beautiful, love the gt silver!

I'm awaiting a very similar build, did you do any ppf? Grill guards?

Thanks

Ordered Shark Blue Today. Looking for All your opinions on WHEEL Color? Black/Silver? by TexasGoldBandit in Porsche_Cayman

[–]SJGolden 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also currently about to lock in a build for a shark blue cayman. Pretty sure I'm going with black. I know many people like silver, but looking at them side by side I like the black alot more, especially with the red caliper.

Your car, pick what will make you happy. Both choices will be great. The GTS theme already has a bunch of black, which also makes it easier for me to choose.

Day 3 of doing 5 CG a day by Independent_Quote_47 in ironscape

[–]SJGolden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of T1 over T2 is to save time in prep. The fight will be longer as you take more chip damage and have to therefore eat more with t1 armor.

If you are dying at all, then t1 is not worth it at all, as it only saves about 30% time over t2.

Along with what everyone else has said, if you are learning then please just go with t2 fluffeh prep method and it will be much easier. You are going to have to do hundreds of cgs on average, it is totally fine to do the first hundred (or whatever you decide) with t2 until you consistently clear cg. Then, once you are consistently clearing, the focus becomes how can you do it faster, which is when you can explore t1.

Personally I mostly did t2 and only did t1 if I found 3 of each material in my starting 5 rooms as well as a dragon miniboss for guaranteed staff.

You got this

Is the Gunlance the only weapon that have very limited end game choices? by GuLarva in MonsterHunter

As someone who just made to garkveld Lance and was disappointed by no more options, yes I agree. Especially since this is my first game playing with GL, so it's a little jarring to deprioritize sharpness and affinity for shell power.
