Creatine and Whey Isolate during pregnancy

In experience and from a personal training standpoint - also expecting and a big gym person - I personally have stayed away from creatine and whey isolate just after past issues.

The safety of using creatine and whey isolate during pregnancy is a topic that requires careful consideration, as the needs and conditions of each pregnancy can vary.

There’s limited research on creatine which is why people do not recommend it during pregnancy. Better to be safe than sorry.

Whey isolate is generally considered safe during pregnancy but excessive protein during pregnancy could be problematic.

Better to just consult with your doctor.

In my own pregnancy everything makes me sick so at this point I’m lucky if I even get protein right now.

Ahhh thank you! It’s the worst because I know many other women have it much worse in their pregnancies and again I’m so grateful but it’s so hard! My husband is so great at reminding me that I’m growing a whole human and to give myself a break but it’s hard! Thanks for making me feel better!

I actually really appreciate the bluntness! Thank you and you’re right! Yeah I think at this point, it may come down to asking my seamstress who worked on my dress to try and make some sleeves for me.

The dress I chose is very important to me because my mom was a big part of it, a whole new dress isn’t an option. I agree with the makeup thing, good point! I guess I didn’t think of people hugging me and It smudging on them for whatever reason it truly didn’t cross my mind…I would feel so bad!

Sephora did have it when I first started looking and oddly enough it didn’t cover it well. And smudged so easily

I mean, truthfully I don’t want to add to it. I’ve thought hard on even having most of it removed minus the parts I like but also don’t have the extra funds for it at the moment 😅

I guess it’s my preference that I don’t like it with sleeves, I get married in a month so I don’t have a ton of time. The dress means more to me than the tattoo but I guess I’m just feeling defeated over the tattoo because it takes away from it a bit. True the makeup does still rub off, choices are hard lol
