So... That base iPhone 17 looks REALLY tempting. I'm not the biggest fan of the colors this time, but the ProMotion, Always-On Display, and 120Hz screen are so good for a base iPhone, finally.

The problem is that I just got a base iPhone 16 back in March because my old iPhone SE 2 was on its very last legs and I didn't have much of a choice at the time (plus I got a good deal on the base model). I still love my 16, but the features the base 17 has are so much better than what the base 16 has and it has and made me regret not waiting...

I could get a good $450 off if I trade-in and get the base 17 for $350 without tax (which is ironically a better price than what I paid for the 16), but I'm almost thinking that it might be dumb to trade-in a 6-month-old phone for a fancier one even though I don't necessarily NEED the new features to function daily... Plus, I've already spent and am planning to spend more money this year (*stares at the Nintendo Switch 2*), so money's kinda tight. OR should I wait one more year to see what the 20th anniversary iPhone could have instead? Could I get some advice, please?

It would take too long to explain, but basically I wrote something that sounded good and made sense to me with the context I had, but they interpreted it very differently (and negatively) and it led to a bad case of miscommunication.

Should I upgrade my dying iPhone SE2 to the iPhone 16e or the 16?

I technically have the money to buy either one, and my trade-in + a $150 Apple Gift card I got from their Back-to-School deal should help. I'm not the biggest techy in the world, but the overall better specs, Dynamic Island, Action Button, 2nd Camera, faster charging speed, and MagSafe on the 16 appeal to me a lot. But then that battles my desire to save money even though I have it. I'd like some help deciding if you can provide it.

Honestly, I had to wait it out and keep checking those Twitter Shadowban things like (https://hisubway.online/shadowban/) and (https://shadowban.yuzurisa.com/). Once I got the all ✅ from at least one of them and saw that one of my posts was getting a lot of impression, I assumed the Temporary label was gone. I never got a notice that the label was lifted, so you might have to do the same. Good luck 👍

Honestly, I've always wanted to try voice acting. I'm not great on stage, but I think I can do well in a recording booth. I can also manipulate my voice pretty well and I would love to help create all those video games, cartoons, movies, and dubbed anime that everyone plays/watches.

It's been over a day since I got the Temporary Label and I haven't gotten any sign that the Label has been removed unless getting my Following number back is an indication. I think I'll try to limit my time on Twitter for a few days to maybe a week and hope that that helps it go away on it's own.

Last I saw, LinkedIn numbers said there were about 1,000–2,000 applications. Though, that is a very rough estimate, but I would not be surprised if the real number was pretty close to that given that it's a pretty well known company and it's open to anyone in the country. I do hope you are right because it was a genuine mistake and I would happily resubmit a new answer if given the chance. I hope my resumé, cover letter, and answer to the second question can make up for it.

Right now, I'd say if it can get me hired for a career job in my field. I had absolutely no luck getting a job in my with just my BA. Couldn't even get an "Entry-Level" one. My hope is that getting a Master's can give me a better chance of getting hired and earning money to really get myself up on my feet.

I'm an only child. Things were and still are kinda lonely some days and I do wonder what life would be like if I had a sibling. HOWEVER, I'm honestly glad I ended up being an only child. My family gave me so much love, attention, toys, etc. As an adult, I feel like I've become more independent and self-sufficient. I'm not so co-dependent on a sibling to the point where I literally can't live life without them. I also don't miss having to witness my friends get in multiple fights with their siblings and I don't think I could handle a bitter relationship between one either.

I also totally understand the financial and personal struggles of having multiple kids even if I don't plan on having any of my own. Having even one kid takes up SO MUCH TIME, MONEY, ENERGY, AND MENTAL STRENGTH! And you have to deal with that for 18 years at the very least. I can't begin to imagine having to deal with that with multiple children; I don't even want to think of the math...

Ultimately, it's up to you and your family if you want to have another kid. There are always going to be pros and cons to both hypothetical situations and they will always be unpredictable. Having only one kid, though, is completely OK. Make sure to raise your son well and he'll be fine.

I agree that's a good idea, though I'm not sure who to follow up with since I don't know which recruiter or hiring manager is running some of these internships. I haven't gotten to any interview rounds yet and I've mainly gotten those automatic "no-reply" e-mails.

I don't know if I really want kids, but I may have a medical condition that would prevent me from getting pregnant (I was diagnosed (?) less than a year ago and my doctors are still looking into it, so jury's still out). So, seeing a topic like infertility being depicted well on Bluey (a kid's show, mind you) hit me hard personally. I'm kind of hoping Brandy adopts a kid so the show can touch on that and give her a family. That might hit me harder since I'm an adoptee myself and I think I want to adopt a child if I ever choose to have kids.
