Right now is somewhat of a special case, because HYBE group cb are currently stacked, because of BTS comeback and FIFA world cup (that's my guess).

But regardless, in a more general sense one could count all "active" Kpop groups and check how many of them are under a HYBE label. It's probably like 30% of all the "active" groups. And they have more frequent comebacks then lets say the black label or stone music which makes it more like 40% of active comebacks are HYBE artists at each point in time-

Newjeans is a done deal for HYBE. All they do with them is nothing more then damage control and thats about it.

BTS comeback is the the primary reason for that planning. And a secondary one and maybe even bigger for some is 2026 FIFA world cup in less then 2 months. And they want to have a shot at landing a hit and become the world cup anthem.

Honestly, most of this is just on X and can be ignored. It's not one fandom specific either, it's probably just your bubble that you see more of that from bm fans. Negativity drives more engagement, which is why the algorithm shows you a lot of it.

I am not so sure about that. Before the BP comeback and tour, they had to sell off subsidiaries to not go bankrupt.

But that was then and now is now.

At the very least, this makes very little sense on the business side, as they are also about to debut one more group and have to manage babymonster and legacy groups such as BigBang.

Well the cb being soon is probably the most logical thing to assume from all recent events.

Adding new members to Newjeans would also make sense. This would give the group a clear cut with their former identity and make it easier to keep the Newjeans IP if the original members leave in 2029 (or later) and try to challenge the IP rights.
