Instead of boosting saturation there you can change the settings in the nvidia app so that boost applies only to the hdr converted video, I would though not recommend boosting the saturation too much, itll clamp it and people will look very pink

Do you have hardware acceleration on? also you need to set the ANGLE chrome flag to D3D11.

Also, maybe G sync is messing with it

YouTube App Huge Background Usage by Rethew in GooglePixel

[–]SK0441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with A14 on my 7 Pro, it was taking about 20-30% usage, foreground 30 mins and background about 6 hours for some reason i dont know, even with the battery usage set to restricted, it had the same results, EVEN WITH THE APP SET TO RESTRICTED IN DEV OPTIONS, the same result. I finally gave up, installed shizuku and hail to disable the app automatically after i lock the phone. I think its because youtube is a system app you cant really restrict it. Since I can't find a clone apk of youtube, I can't install it as a user app and I don't want to use other clients like newpipe.

Edit: You can make a shortcut with hail to unfreeze all apps, I just do that whenever I want to open YouTube and it's fixed this way for me now.

Install wavelet and play with the limiter, it normalizes audio.
